I don't want a vega 56 because it is 70 dollars more than the 590 and the 590 can suffice for what I want to do as I have just been so kindly told but thank you for the suggestion.

Ok then this seems very strange, as you said it might be the psu but I don't really think it is. This system should only draw like 350 - 400 watts
