    java cant only use 1/8 the amount or ram available in you system (means minus system+software ram usage) this is why you cant allow more than 1.5G in -Xmx and minimum ram needs to be half of it witch gives you in fixed ammount possible 512M in-Xms cant quote where i fouund those usefull info thought, hope it helps

    on ios, the support for peripherals depends on the app developement, so you should start by looking if your game support controller first
