RedStillPlays379 got a reaction from WkdPaul in What is your current carrier.
None of those exist in Canada, I personally use Fizz (it’s basically Vidéotron). It’s quite a cheap provider, I have 12 GB (at full LTE speed btw) of data for 35$/month, with unlimited phone and text. The only issue is that I only have coverage in Québec and VoLTE isn’t available, that doesn’t really bother me. I also have to mention that I always buy my phones, I really hate contracts.

Bell, Telus, Rogers and Vidéotron are just way overpriced. They offer 4 GB for 40$/month, not even slightly competitive. The prices in Canada are the most expensive in the world, if not, they’re pretty close to being the most expensive. It’s so dumb how you guys in the UK and Europe get unlimited data for like 35£ or 40€ per month. It’s also « true » unlimited data, that doesn’t exist in Canada, after 10, 20 or 50 GB they slow your connection to 512 Kpbs. Those speeds are not usable for anything.
