  1. Good news everyone! Both sticks were faulty, I sent a replacement request to amazon and I had no problem at all with the new ram that just arrived. Once installed the system booted flawlessly. All's well that ends well!
  2. Sorry for the late response but I've been busy getting my degree this week (yay). I only have "setting 1" o "auto" for XMP and it was on "setting 1" so I changed to auto but still no luck, no post with new ram
  3. It posts with the old memory, and it alsoo boot normally. I'll try leaving the cmos jumper on 2-3 for the whole night and see, thanks. I thought it would work with just one reboot with the jumper in the clear posisiton
  4. Yes, it is supported, on the offical page of asrock I can no longer check since I think they removed the list, but on crucial website it says that it is 100% compatible with it
  5. I just changed the PSU with a new one a couple of months ago (corsair TX550M gold) and it has been working greatly, I don't think that's the problem. And I don't have a spare one to try anyway.
  6. These are my specs: I'm changing from 2x4gb ddr4 2666 ram from hyperx; The new one is crucial ballistix 2x8gb 3200. Whatever I do I cannot get the sistem to post with the new ram, so I can't even get in the bios to check stuff. This is what I checked/tried so far. -ram is compatible with the motherboard -updated bios -cleared CMOS -tried with both new stick -tried with only one at the time -tried different ram slots, both when using only one and when using both -when I put back the old ram in the same way as it was before is post and everything is normal. I know both sticks may be DOA, but the probability is very low. Is there something else I could try?
  7. The 880 in italy Costs 100€ more than the 770 and the 990 sadly (211 vs 113) and I would need to get an amp if i don't get the very low ohm version of 880 too (i guess, I'm a noob about amps and stuff like that) Instead the 880 with 80 ohm shoul be fine, i use a pair of hyperx cloud which are 60ohm and my computer drive those pretty good. Would you suggest different headphones?
  8. I'm in the same exact situation, and after a couple days of searching i think I'll probably buy the dt770 pro, or if you want open headphones the dt990 pro. I initially looked for ath m50x but some people say that if you raise the volume The sound get too much V shaped and that they don't sound as good. Hyperx product are also very good imo, but they shout GAMING a bit too much to be worn in public. I would love to hear what other people have to reccomend
