RainJay's Achievements

  1. There are games now that are demanding higher ddr memory. Bf4,gta5,arkam knight, etc. It's good to play it safe with 16gb or higher ram clock speed, although other people might disagree. Another good reason to upgrade is rendering performance. Software for video and photo editing requires higher memory for better results in performance.
  2. It could be that you're not getting enough ventilation in your case, set more fans to cool your vrm.
  3. i wouldn't really recommend Overclocking on it, even though I know you can quite a bit. Won't really make much of a performance increase.
  4. Try to update the drivers or the BIOS. Most likely they're outdated.
  5. Just go with the maximus hero. i always liked the clean uefi from asus. there's a lot more tweaking options implemented onto the board. Not to mention the aesthetics (:
