  1. It's not a 4mm hex wrench, I need a socket wrench to take them off, most likely a 3mm.
  2. If the allen wrench is 4mm, what size would the socket wrench be?
  3. I'm installing a Corsair waterblock and on the back of the pcb I had the wrong size allen wrench, (5mm). It looks like I'll need a 4mm wrench, I also saw a video where the guy stated "it's ahh 6mm or 7mm ratchet" I have a 7mm ratchet but then I'll have to take apart the gpu again to find out if it's the right size or not. Does anyone know the correct wrench size?
  4. Fractal Design S2 is very nice and has many options for fan placement, ssd mounts, psu cover on or off. I have a mid tower with air cooled i7 8700k delid, it stays around 60c under load. My GTX 2080 Ti FE is always around 85c in this case. I suggest the full sized case if you have the same gpu, or something is wrong with my gpu. I have to remove the side panel to keep the gpu fans from blasting full speed sounding like a freight train.
  5. The Corsair Glaive is a very large mouse, and very good. Removable thumb rests, very responsive.
  6. Here's the link: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Choose your card, AMD and do a complete uninstall reboot. It's best to do this in safe mode. In the Windows search, Run, enter, msconfig. Then select Boot, Safe Mode, Restart. It might or might not help your situation.
  7. Have you used the gpu driver uninstaller DDU? It removes all files from old drivers that get stacked and could cause problems. Have to ask, probably did this right?
  8. And your cpu temps are fine ?
  9. I ordered a used i3 350M and installed it, all that happened was beeping. Installed the old cpu and it's fine. Dell told me I couldn't change the parts and buy a new pc. I'll just use it for youtube and email.
  10. Yes an old Dell laptop, I opened it up and cleaned the fan and case, applied new thermal paste. Deleted about 300 gb , seems a little better. Maybe a i5 430M will work better, thanks.
  11. I have an Inspiron 1564, the cpu might be damaged from overheating. Does anyone know if an i5 cpu would work on this pc? Or what is the highest grade I can upgrade this with.
  12. Try WD 40 Specialist Electrical Contact Cleaner Spray. You can soak electrical components, it dries right away, leaves no residue on plastic and metal. Check out the many videos on youtube. Amazon $6.74 usd.
  13. So i decided to get the Fractal Define S2. It's very nice looking and the cover for the psu that hides the cables is great. Problems I'm having, the fan controller says I should be able to see all the fans in the bios (Asus Z370 F), I only see the cpu fan. I have a 140 mm exhaust fan that doesn't show. Also I don't see any possible way to connect fans to the top of the case, no matching holes, even though the manual shows 120 and 140mm fans fit.
  14. Are you air or liquid cooled? I forgot to mention, the temps get around 80c when Afterburner limits are set to 100, temp and power.
