  1. I had the same problem with almost the exact same setup (except I have a 2060, not 2080ti). It was the mobo bios, it wasn’t recognizing the 9th gen cpu or the graphics card. I had to go to the Asus website to download the updated bios for cpu and gpu, and it worked. Hope it works for you
  2. So a friend brought me their pc to fix and I’ve come to a stand still. It’s an old prebuilt hp (AMD Vision, Windows 7, 4gb ddr3, Radeon gpu). He said it doesn’t give a display signal, all the fans and lights come on and HDD spins though. So I tried the usual, ie different gpu, different ram, doing a full reboot, unplugging and plugging stuff back in, trying all of the video outs available, and of course making sure my monitor, and cables were working. Nothing worked, I then thought maybe mobo, so I took out all the ram expecting to get a beep code from the mobo, nothing. So I ordered a new mobo from Newegg and just finished putting it in, same thing. Fans all start spinning (seemingly at full speed), lights come on and HDD is spinning. Still no signal. Tried taking the ram out (again expecting a beep code), nothing. I’m starting to think it’s the CPU, any other ideas before I suggest a new CPU to him?
  3. I’m starting to think so lol, thanks
  4. The room was around 21-24c, not sure exactly. And I’m not entirely sure what xtu is, so if it’s not auto enabled then no, I’m not using it.
  5. No, just the way it came. I did some research and found people we’re having trouble hitting 5ghz until they went to 1.45VCore in some cases, so I was surprised to find out I only had to go to 1.304VCore to run smoothly. Oh, and it’s aircooled with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo.
  6. Let me start off by saying this is my first time overclocking, so with that said, I recently overclocked my 8700k to 5ghz. While most of the time it sits at 1.304 VCore, sometimes it jumps to 1.312. I have numerous stress tests and it is stable, no crashes or stutters with a peak temp of 72c. Is it typical for the VCore to move that much or do I have more tweaking to do still? *UPDATE* Got it down to 1.272V (while staying stable) still on 5ghz with a max temp of 72c (air cooled, non delidded)
  7. I downloaded the program mentioned, went into device manager, copied the value of my device into the program, put it into the search bar, and it came up with nothing. I turned on access to the Windows "Camera" app just to make sure the camera was working (it was). I ran the program again while I could clearly see that the camera was being used, and it came up with nothing. In device manager, it only says "CamLink", I'm not sure if that's why the tool didn't work or not. To give a bit more detail, I'm using a Canon Vixia HF R80 camcorder through an Elgato CamLink (External USB 3.0)
  8. I'm using-Canon CamcorderElgato Camlink (external USB 3.0)Google ChromeWindows 10 ProI was live streaming on Youtube for 1-2 months with no trouble at all, it was working consistently and exactly how I expected it to.I can't remember if I updated Windows, or Chrome, but now it is pretty difficult to get it to work. The most common error I get is on Youtube- "Camera can't be accessed because it's being used by another application".Here is everything I have tried-- I have made sure Youtube has access to camera and microphone and that all Windows apps are blocked.- I have tried using a different browser (FireFox).- I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CamLink in device manager.- I have checked for Windows, Chrome, and Camlink updates.- I have tried rebooting the PC- I have tried using different USB ports (2.0, 3.0, and 3.1)- I have tried using different HDMI cables from the camera to the CamLink.- I have tried resetting settings on Camera, and Chrome to default.- I have tried turning the camera off and back on again. The Camera, CamLink, and HDMI cables are all good, because when I allow access to Windows Camera, it shows up and works as expected (although it wont record through the app). The only way I found it works on Youtube is if I reboot the PC and immediately go to Youtube and attempt to go live, the camera shows up as it should. Although when I attempt to go live, it just sits there doing its circle loading thing. I am completely lost as to what to try next. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Any help would be great, thank you.
