  1. I actually ran in to this exact same situation with the same motherboard and CPU a few months ago. Different way of getting to it, I forgot to plug in my pump and my CPU overheated and shut down, after ages of troubleshooting, I was able to boot in to windows on a single stick in the first slot. After that I shut down, added the second stick and everything was fine. One of my troubleshooting steps after the overheat was to reseat the CPU, so maybe try that along with clearing the CMOS and try booting in to the BIOS to make sure it's all there before going past that (if you can get to that point). Also were you able to boot with just two sticks in?
  2. Hope it's a good hobby for you! One last thing I didn't mention, it's going to cost $175 to sign up to take the test, and a re-test if you fail is the same cost. So make sure you go to the test fully prepared! Good luck!
  3. The FAA tests are fairly easy to take, multiple choice questions with only 3 answers to pick from. You don't need to pay for anything as the FAA has created a free study guide for exactly what you're looking for. If you really want to pay for something, ASA makes great study guides and it's 10 bucks for the e-book. https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/regulations_policies/handbooks_manuals/aviation/remote_pilot_study_guide.pdf. As far as the regulation side of it goes, 14 CFR Part 107 is what you'd be delving in to. It goes in to detail on everything you would need to follow. I know aircraft are recommended to stay at least 2000 feet above wildlife zones and national parks, but I'm sure it's different for a small drone, just double check the regulations. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-14/chapter-I/subchapter-F/part-107 Just follow that checklist that you linked to and you'll be good to go.
  4. There's quite a few options that I'm seeing over on mechanicalkeyboards.com. A lot of them don't necessarily have the correct labels, but it seems most of them can be reconfigured in software to be standard media keys, just find one you like and make sure it has the features you want. Welcome to the forums. https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/collections/full-size-keyboards?page=1
  5. Had a mini heart attack this morning when my pc wouldn't boot. I went to clean it out, and reapplied thermal paste to my cooler, but when I went to turn it back on, it shut down almost immediate because my dumb ass forgot to plug the pump back in. For some reason, even after plugging it back in, giving it time to cool down, and re-seating everything for troubleshooting, I just couldn't get a signal. Was going to make a post but found this, saw the step about booting with only a single RAM stick. First stick I pulled out, same issue, put it back in and pulled the other one out and somehow it magically worked? Now currently running both sticks and no issues, and much cooler because the paste was dried out... Thanks for this post saving my sanity today.
  6. As far as I know, and can see, this anti-cheat doesn't continue running after you close the game. I don't know how to dig deep into active running system files, but the process in task manager goes away when I close the game.
  7. It's definitely not a bad UPS. I basically have the APC equivalent for power consumption and it's come in handy quite a few times already since I've lost power and was able to shut my PC down normally. I did a lot of research (probably ran into the same dilemma too) when I bought mine and just elected to go with the APC brand, although I don't think either one is a bad choice.
  8. Considering CableMod made the effort to file a claim with the CPSC, I doubt their intention is to keep their fingers crossed that people won't follow through with getting a replacement for their right angle connectors. It's a fire hazard and I doubt that CableMod wants to be the ones responsible for replacing an entire PC, much less an entire house if a fire happened to go that far. They've got a big red banner on the home page of their website telling people about it too. But who knows...
  9. Double check all the simple stuff if you haven't already as well. Make sure you have drivers installed, I would recommend getting them from nvidias website. Also double check the game isn't trying to run on integrated graphics instead of the actual GPU.
  10. The only other thing I could suggest is to download G Hub on your PC (if you didn't already) and see if somehow a setting got messed up. Also since the headset isn't quite 2 years old, why not reach out to Logitech and see about a warranty replacement if it's as bad as it sounds. My experience with them was pretty decent and I got a replacement, even though that was probably 10 years ago, not sure how it is now.
  11. Yeah, the biggest reason I freaked out was because I haven't needed to log in for multiple years, since messenger stays logged in on my phone and my account stays permanently deactivated, and when I did log in to my account, it wasn't letting me change my password because I had been trying too much, even though I hadn't tried at all yet. Turned out just to be an issue with a browser extension that I had. I have since changed passwords for all email and accounts associated with my facebook account just in case, and I was probably due for a change anyway. Thanks for the input y'all!
  12. Yeah this is what I did. Just playing a waiting game at this point. Thanks!
  13. Unfortunately it came from the same email address that was sent when I reactivated my account. Someone was trying to reset my password last night, and because of that, Facebook won't let me delete my account. So if they try again tonight who knows what'll happen
  14. This is my immediate plan now. But unfortunately Facebook is not letting me delete the account. It says "Sorry this feature isn't available right now"
