  1. To me, it looks like there's a power button is on the board next to the audio jack. I don't know your use case but it looks like that's all you've got if you're not comfortable with doing one up for yourself. As for an LED connector, it doesn't look like this has one as it's probably some embedded, highly proprietary thing
  2. The ones that come to mind for me are the Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB in white or T-Force Delta RGB in white. They come in varying capacities and speeds so pick what you want based on budget and application but these two are the best choices off the top of my head.
  3. I'm not sure if this belongs in this category but I'm planning on getting myself a new monitor and want to use my existing one as a secondary. I don't have a lot of space on my desk so I've decided to go vertical. Is there a stand that's reputable that I can look at?
  4. I think in their sleeper pc videos they've done it and the dual system build in the corsair 1000D with the two quad 120 rads
  5. So I've seen in Linus' videos that sometimes they fill the loop through the radiator with like a big rad or something. I've never known why they do that. Does it make sense to do it like that so you don't have to keep filling the res over and over?
  6. This is kind of related to one of my other posts about aura creator not working for me. I bought an Asus ROG Strix RTX 2070 from Newegg recently and tried to set it up with my RGB but it doesn't show up. Specifically, it doesn't show up in Aura Creator. it works with the other presets in Armory Crate, but won't show up in the device list in Creator. when I look at it in the Sync tab in Crate, it says ROG-STRIX-RTX2070-V2 (attached picture). Does anyone else with this gpu see this too and is there a way that I can use it with Creator or should I just talk to support? EDIT: I am aware that there is a v2 in the description for asus' dual evo rtx cards but I can confirm that I have a Strix version with aura support in asus' literature
  7. I have done this. I could try reinstalling Armory Crate to see if that works.
  8. So I just installed a new Asus ROG Strix RTX 2070 and I went to get my RGB stuff all synced up and update my Creator profiles with the new card but aura creator doesn't have it listed in its available devices. I know Asus doesn't make the best software but i've tried countless uninstalling and reinstalling of both the program and the driver and even went as far as to reseat the card itself. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. NOTE: the card does have an LED on/off button and I can confirm it is on because the preset aura profiles work on it.
  9. Oh, I actually didn't know that. Thanks!
  10. All you really need to know about airflow is that there needs to be enough to keep temps under control. Some cases do this better than others, like mine in this case. Phanteks didn't really do a good job. The most common way to do it is to have balanced pressure in the case meaning you have fans taking air in and exhausting it out. The most common way to do this is to put a few fans in the front for intake and one at the back for exhaust. Depending on your components and where heat is actually being generated, this can change.
  11. First off, what method are you using to install windows? Second, make sure the boot order is set correctly in the BIOS. Third, all the drivers should have been installed when the installation was first completed. You could try and fix this by reinstalling windows as I assume there's nothing on the drive if you can't boot to it at all. A good thing to try would be to install it from the media creation tool on Microsoft's website. If anything was confusing, let me know and I'll try and explain myself.
  12. They could also be set to run at full tilt because they don't have software telling them what to do. If you don't have it installed, do that and then see if that fixes it.
  13. The thing you have to watch out for though is that DC fans have no control over their speed whatsoever. My preference is PWM as most fans are going to have that option anyway but you can set the headers to run as DC if you want in the BIOS or software.
  14. Just gaming mostly, it's my first build and it's gotten a lot of revisions but I'm open to any suggestions. I'm also on quite the budget but I think I did a good job
  15. So I just finished specing out my new build and I want to see if I did anything wrong or if there's any input the community would like to have. This is going to be used mostly for gaming and I'm on a pretty slim budget but I feel like I did pretty good though I'm still open to suggestions.
