  1. I build way more AMD PCs for gaming than NVidia for clients.. I recommend AMD more for most use cases, most with budget builds. I myself personally own an NVidia as my main (because it's not for gaming, and my particular card does better than AMD did.. tested & fact) However, I also own an AMD PC. I own a MacBook laptop & Windows PCs, an iPad Mini & Galaxy Note 10", HTC M8, and I really want a Surface Pro! IMO that's as far from "fanboy" of anything as it gets; however, I must admit.. I am near the line of a Razer fanboy, but NOT to build quality (I'm not delusional.. Though, I have ZERO problems with all my gear) only due to aesthetics. So yeah!
  2. It was arguable, but yes, the PS3 was known to have slightly more power in its toolshed.
  3. ...What's your point? It has ALWAYS been a fact that AMD cards dominate some games, NVIDIA dominates others games.. ..Those games happened to go to a Dual-GPU card (also because most of them scale well) So yeah.. Yay!.. Win for AMD ! #IsThatWhatYouWantedToHear?StillProvesNothing.PS:I'mNoFanboyToEither.
  4. Yeah, I know. I agree also, haha. I use my MacBook Pro for all video production/editing/rendering. Macs have their uses, for sure. But.... #PCMasterRace
  5. Yup. And the WD Black 1TB drives are $69.99 AND free Dead Rising 3 ... WTF! #GoGoGadgetStoragePrices ..Now if only this trend can hit the RAM-sector finally, that would be great.. Quite tired of paying $100+ for something that costs half to make as a 1TB HDD!!
  6. My friend I was just joking. I just didn't have a good answer to your question, so I said something else.
  7. You're what we call an Unsolvable Case. I take it you also use an iPhone, iPad & own at least 1 set of Beats?
  8. Two areas where you can go cheaper are: Motherboard - You don't need to pay $110 for a MoBo for that Aniversary Edition CPU. Get a board under $80 and you'll get same exact performance, bare loss of features. PSU - You can drop down to the CX500. You don't need anywhere near 600 Watts with that GPU, even with the most extreme OC. That CLC is fine. The price works for this build. Atlhough, a Hyper 212 would pinch a few bucks off if you get into a very tight budget situation.
  9. I'm sorry about your experience, however, I have installed nearly 40+ of those Corsair PSUs (CX430-600) in clients' (budget) PCs and I have had these results: 0 - DoA 1 - Problems within 6 months (which, was negligibly even Corsair's fault) 3 - Problems within 12 months 1 - Fatal Issue(s) with/surrounding the PSU itself Keep in mind, that's out of roughly 44-46 builds... Not bad. Only 1 (the fatal issue) really even serves the right of a "complaint" as it was totally the PSU's fault. And one of the 3 that went within 12/mo period I would say would also be due to a 'faulty' PSU. That's 2 out of 45. (avg) Take this info as you want to. Just my experience!
  10. I would get a Corsar CX500M. It's under $60. Or go with the non-modular (no M at the end) for even less. That will be plenty, I think? As long as no OC or anything crazy.
  11. Why not buy pre-sleeved? I don't think I've ever bought a "bad" batch, and I've tried from like 6 different companies. I'm sure they ship to Europe, as some of these kits are sold on Amazon / Newegg, etc..?
  12. I know I'm right.. I've done it more than once before.. I'm not new to this game. That's why I said what I said. Not because I'm guessing it'll be tough... And I still don't think you understand wtf I was saying by saying that 2nd sentence..... Long story short, you should just forget about this project until you've built 322 PCs and know how to custom change parts around, like re-soldering a motherboard, custom creating connections, attachments, mounting systems, cooling system... etc. It takes massive knowledge on each and every component of a PC inside & out. Not quite sure why I am even explaining this in such detail. Either way, good luck with whatever you wanna do.
  13. I don't think fitting an entire PC into a console is a project for somebody's 2nd ever PC build... It's not anywhere NEAR like your first build... Builds such as this have mods on top of mods you gotta make to make this happen.. Skill level is much harder than building in *any* size ATX case.. .. You have to fully re-work how the cooling works... You gotta create the cooling system, essentially. And don't forget, this isn't like building in an ATX where every part you could possibly need is sold on shelves.. NOTHING for this build is sold at stores, as you'll have to create most of custom parts it takes to create this build. But uhh... Good luck!~
  14. Ohhh, Australia. Missed that little "side" fact (which changes everything) Then go with the next thing.
  15. Neither. The new Acer IPS 144hz "No Comprimise -Linus That Linus reviewed this past week. Buuut, if I can't be the devil's advocate.. Then I say the ASUS PB278QR over that particular BenQ.
  16. Wasn't Twisted Metal just ICP? (Insane Clown Posse) Also, I would have to go with Zelda: Ocarina of Time & Halo (original).
  17. I think most of their products are great. I would compare their design quality to Razer. Yes, that wouldn't be the best build quality known to man, but in Roccat's case (unlike Razer's) it keeps the prices nice & low. Also, I love companies that keep trying something new. Taking wide risks. Roccat is the epitome of this, so I must throw them some kudos for that. Personally, I currently own only one Roccat product, and that's the Roccat Apuri (Mouse Bungee & USB Hub with LEDs). I preferred it over every other mouse bungee offering, even to this day. As far as their other peripherals (mouse & keyboards) I feel, as I stated above, they take more risks with their products than other 'small' companies such as them. No names mentioned here.
  18. A damn solid recommendation, IMHO. I would uninstall AVG and download Malwarebytes just as Elliott mentioned. Bit defender isn't a bad touch, either. PS: Tell her to stop clicking ads on porn sites.. IF that email really is hers. If not, just another stupid spam email thrown into the black hole world of "Spam - Delete Forever".
  19. I say go for the Rampage V Extreme personally.
  20. It's basically money given to you by the US government if you don't have the income/resources to afford to feed yourself & your kids with your current income (or lack of income)
  21. This should answer your question & fix your problem. It's actually a very common issue that bugs people; as, depending on the monitor manufacturing company, how products go through QC and how thoroughly checked they are can all be the verdict.
  22. Can you please be more specific, @theboah ? Thanks!
  23. Did you just call Watch_Dogs_ a "Franchise"? If so, please look up the word! But, to your question - I would have to say Final Fantasy, Battlefield, Resident Evil, and I don't care that Diablo isn't technically a franchise, but I still say it!
  24. Anytime mate. You're more than welcome to add me as a friend, I always respond and help many people out. Good Luck~
