    Laptop is ASUS TUF FX505DD
    Ryzen 7 3750H
    Nvidia GTX 1050 3GB
    2x8 ram sticks.
    Before the overheating started max temps were like 90-95 at most but now it just jumps to 105 sometimes and it does that annoying fps drop.
    GPU reaches like 70 degrees max so its just cpu

    ah okay... might it be because you're connected to 2,4 ghz with it? I always had that problem with creating a hotspot on my laptop and phone

    No, I'm not connected to any WiFi network. I'm connected via Ethernet. The WiFi card is just kinda sitting there and while I will eventually buy a router, I wanna take advantage of it in the meantime. But not in 2.4 GHz mode lol

    No, as far as I can tell that's just to convert one audio output into two. This one makes the actual purpose more clear.
