  1. If you have a CPU with integrated graphics processor you can get 2 screens without FPS drop in game Like me with Intel I5-4670K. I think there is some "Service" in With does 8 that allows you to have 3 monitors as separate Outputs, so when you ALT+Tab it doesn't give you Windows on both screens. But best is to maximize your game to windows on Windowed mode, so you be sure nothing will happen.
  2. OffTopic: @kingzogan That's weird cause on my old PC Games were smoother on windowed and even AudioSurf was unplayable with 20FPS on Full when windowed I was getting 40+ Dunno why?
  3. Yeah man. Give me another 500 PLN (150USD) for 280... Prices here are different. A lot different than at our place. Maybe I should save for that 290 that I'd really like, but It will take me another 2-3 months of money saving... That would be vacation and I'll be mostly away from PC when now there is work to be done @jmaster299 Thanks. That knowledge will be handy @WoodenMarker I don't like all those benchmarks, because or there are no brands shown, or there are those FPS charts which are weird. Cause my friends are able to get 30-40 FPS more than there is with same settings. (There are sometimes almost 100MHz difference on a clock between brands) Looks like I'm under pressure to get a 290X cause: 1.I got a really overkill CPU for 760/770/280 2.I want MORE! 3.This rig has to last at least 3-4 years handling everything on Max->Medium. BTW. Here is how stuff cost in Poland: 760 - 960->1100 PLN (360USD) 770 - 1050->1120PLN (369-370USD) 780 - 2000->2100PLN (690USD) 280X - 1100-1180PLN (389USD) 290X - 1500-1600PLN (520USD) (USD is highest price for it. So you can take out around 30-50USD fro. it for cheap ones)
  4. WOW! Thanks! 760 prices vary from 200 to even 600 Euros (I don't know who did this, but it's true) 1.Is there a huge difference between 770 and 760? 2.Are those AMD cards really worth something when bundled with Intel CPU? Cause NVIDIA has some cool options and I trust them, but I experianced alot of AMD in some old PCs (Long time ago ). And I did not like it. I was always jelous of my friends with NVIDIA GPU (Not CPUs, but now Intel is on the lead with their "I" stuff, so I just went for it.) Kloaked 300FPS, because it's native Source Engine FPS which leads to best optimization, best registry and no frustration, because I missed a frame, or my character made a weird laggy move. EDIT: After looking at the reviews/charts and prices I might squeeze this 100PLN more for 770 if not the R9 280X. NOW GTX 770 or R9 280X!?
  5. Hello Gentleman I'm looking for a GPU for around 330-360/380 USD (1000PLN), that would suit me in CS:GO, video editing, 3D Modeling and could handle a Wide-Screen (3 Monitors) For now I've only noticed GTX 760 as an INTEL+NVIDIA Fanboy But charts how are they able to handle are horrible! With my actual build (Bottom of this post) I get 25-30 FPS on maxxed out 1080p CS:GO and those Expensive (For me) cards are able to handle BF 3 with 50-60frames?! And are unable to handle more than 1440p?! That's horrible (I'm not a pro So correct me). So. There are so many options with GTX 760. So many brands. 4GB GDDR5 (Which are mostly able to handle less. (I've seen one 2GB that probably can handle 4K (In Windows I bet ), but none of the 4GB go over 1440p.) and this R9 280X that looks pretty awesome on paper and is pretty cheap. Can you guys point me into any better options or tell me what to choose from GTX 760 that: (Or tell me if this is not possible ) 1.Can handle 3 Screens. 2.Would give me at least 300 FPS 1650x1080 with only HIGH Shadows in CS:GO 3.Will allow me to Stream Video and Record Screeb in Best Possible quality. (I Think that this Intel Video processing technology makes your Integrated Graphics do the job, so you don't loose FPS anymore) 4.3D Modeling in Maya (3D Car models for rFactor) 5.Allow me to make huge projects in Sony Vegas with stable FPS Thanks guys! My Spec for now: Proc: Intel i5-4670K (With Integrated Graphics) Motherboard: MSI Z87 PSU: XFX PRO 550W CPU cooling: Zalman CNPS14X Case: Old black case from NTTsystems
  6. Ive decided to not create a new thread and just bump this one. @UP! So. Blue Screens seem to go away. PC is running fine and with 4.2 GHz Im easily able to play some CS:GO with stable 80-90FPS. BUT! My mouse keeps disconnecting! I haven't notice it do this when gaming (CS:GO), but happens when playing NFS World (Mouse is idle then, playin on Xbox 360 Controller) and when browsing internet (Im moving the mouse and BOOP! reconnects). Do you guys have any ideas of what can it be? (My bet is something is lowering current(power) on USBs to the point where it's not enough for my mouse) Thanks. Edit: I just downvolted my CPU from 1.2 with 40 Offset to 1.2 without offset. (On 4.2GHz, works quite fine)
  7. OK. Parts are back together, going to connect it back again and try my Linux Rescue Disk Ubuntu is running flawless... Hmmm, but StressAppTest won't start up, so I cant test how stable he is. Going for Windows. WOW! Now Im writing from my NewPC aaand it looks like most of the problem was in underclocked RAM But still, is it normal behavior for CPU to jump from one Clock to another so quickly? Isn't it supposed to have other, "half-way" clocks? So, here is my BSOD back: What is doing this to me?!
  8. OK. Reseating in progress. I thought that amount of compund that was on it is not enugh, but ended up that whole processor was covered just PERFECT! First time luck. When I'll be done with all this will try Ubuntu and then reinstall whole Windows
  9. RAM checked few times (Thanks to my friend from IT), everything is fine. (With memtest, windows checker) HDD - checked with SATA from MotherBoard and from Xbox 360 Flashing Device (I don't have more SATAs) Drivers - Im now trying to install different Windows 7 (Downloaded from Pirates site ) that includes SP1. Maybe that will help, but for now it tells me that install.wim is too big for FAT32. Reseating is a good idea. I've tried a Pea method and I'd like to check how does it look Thanks.
  10. Go to XDA-deveolpers.com and post your issue there. For now I can tell you that all the stuff you need to do can be done using ODIN or download CyanogenMod installer, install CyanogenMod (Doing this will unlock everything you need) and then do all the stuff you want.
  11. Hello. Around week ago, I got my parts for building my first ever PC (Cause my old Laptop that I got for communion is slowly dying). Spec of my system: Case: Old mid-tower NTTsystem taken from very old PC (Case is fine I guess) (Is open, because Cooler is 5 CM to big ) MotherBoard: MSI Z87-G43 Cooler: Zalman CNPS14X S775 + Arctic Cooling MX-2 (I didn't know that there is going to be Paste with Cooler ) CPU: Intel i5-4670K GPU: Lack of money, for now graphics from CPU. RAM: Team Group Vulcan Gold - DDR3 - 1600 CL9 (2x4GB) PSU: XFX Pro Series 550W 120mm 80+ Bronze HDD: WD Caviar Green 1TB taken from WD MyBook. Additional old 3PIN system fan for Exhale Network: Netgear WNA1100 USB adapter Periferals: Mouse A4Tech X750 Keyboard iBOX 2.4GHz Wireless Keyboard So, my problems: Before BIOS update: -Sometimes, when booting i get BSOD with something like "Paging error, paging found in not paged area" (After updating BIOS it doesn't happen often. Cure for this (Befor), was to disconnect external USB WiFi adapter) And it doesn't bother me anymore. -When Overclocking to 4.4GHz no matter what VCore PC just reboots with OC fail prompt. -When Overclocking to 4.3GHz no matter how high VCore I can't get in AIDA64 higher temp. than 60 degrees Celsius. Facts: -Actual OC of CPU and internal GPU changed my scores in XTU and Catzilla. -WNA1100 wasn't making any problems. -There were some Windows stutter problems, but weren't often. After BIOS update(Through M-flash): -I was again trying to OC again. Getting to 4.6GHz and 1.3-1.31 VCore was only making it worse (Boots fine, but then stutters alot). So, back to BIOS F6 (Default), everything went to AUTO, but in XTU it showed that Max Power Wattage is 550 and Max amperage is 1024,xxx A (XTU showed Defaults as 98,xxx A and Wattage about 150 Watts). Changing everything to normal helps to resolve stuttering a little bit. -Windows started stuttering on any Clock, WNA1100 not always works and many times I need to reinstall drivers just to connect to WiFi (I don't have internet at home, but Im using NETIA FON from my neighbours ) -I've noticed that after installing some of the Windows Updates my problems get even worse. -When Stressing in XTU clocks won't go over 3.9 GHz when OCed to 4.2GHz (I would like it to stay there) -OC looks to even lower my Catzilla and XTU benches. -Mouse randomly disconnects. Further actions done by me led to this: -Intel CPU monitor shows that clocks are Lowest and when something is working it goes straight to 4.2+. -Windows stutters and Advanced Sys Care shows 40% CPU usage (Windows Tasks give me 20-24%) -WNA1100 doesn't even want to show that is connected. If you want to help and need more data tell me, will do. Thanks for the future Edit: I've just noticed that BIOS was underclocking my RAM from 1600 to 1333. Edit2: Is there some kind of pattern setting up Windows? Like programs and Drivers first and then Windows Upfate, or other way around?
  12. @Up What about running 2-3 monitors on this build? I may use 2 monitors, but 3 would come later.
  13. Rly? Freq doesn't matter? OK. Will check it out. Thanks for your help @Ryan Leech What about running 2-3 monitors on this build? I may use 2 monitors, but 3 would come later.
  14. @Ryan Leech why "cheap" RAM? Can you give an example?
  15. Dobra kurwa! I'm going to use it for video rendering as well. I'm also a lot into GIMP(actual PC works pretty well), also some programming (simple stuff, no need for special equipment). BTW. I want as fast response as possible cause I play iRacing, CS:GO, Smite. Which means I need to be as quick as possible @ZetZet my bad! I'll change it to K. PLEASE! Look at my builds like at stuff that a noob wants. I just like those parts, but those aren't prepped for OC, so feel free to change the INTEL/NVIDIA one as much as you lime.
  16. Sup PPL. My last PC was 1300-1400$ Laptop that I got for Communion (Like 6-7 years ago? ) but playing CS:GO on it gives me around 20-30 FPS which is too much under my needs So, got the money went through some builds and here I am looking for last professional help and assist. I want my PC to be as much overclock able as possible (For now to run on stock and when it will slow down, to give it as much boost as it will need). All purely for long work on this build Parts that I already have: -DVD - iHAS that was used for Xbox -HDD - WD green 1TB (Old HDD, but 1TB is enough and I'm not looking for huge speeds(At least for now)) -Case - My friend has a stash full of cases, but if you have something good and not very expensive I may buy it. -Monitor and other periferals. My builds: (Polish site!) http://www.morele.net/inventory/info/ljpuq2/ http://www.morele.net/inventory/info/mw0jou/ http://www.morele.net/inventory/info/oy4yen/ I know it's not much. Just enough to make it work without any cooling (Which when I'll get more experience, gonna make water cooling) Thanks for your time
