  1. Time to fold again. Maybe this time my GPU Survives ^^
  2. Thank you for your answers. I have found the problem after disabling the XMP profile. Well, it was the RAM. It wasn't able to run at the advertised speeds anymore (it did before, but got worse and worse). After Googling the part number it seems that this wasn't the first time for this product, so I returned it and got working ones. Now I can't close my side panel because the new RAM modules are too high in combination with my cooler, but that error is on me ^^.
  3. I have three separate 8 pin connectors hooked up to the GPU. Before the 3080 I had a 3070 for a month or so before sending it back because it randomly powered itself down. Nothing before that, The system is quite new. I have had the card since January, but the crashes weren't as frequent in the beginning and I mostly attributed them to the bad state of Cyberpunk 2077 as that was my main game at that time.
  4. Hi, recently I have been unable to actually play games as most of them jut crash after a few minutes now. I tried: Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Satisfactory, Escape from Tarkov and Horizon: Zero Dawn (Just tried the benchmark). I updated the bios of my Mainbord and my GPU, enabled resizeBAR, disabled resizeBAR, installed updates, made sure ryzen master settings are on default and MSI afterburner isn't running, and deinstalled the Nvidia drivers with DDU before reinstalling them. Please help. My PC'S Components are: Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (Wi-Fi), BIOS ver. 2403 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X MSI GeForce RTX™ 3080 GAMING X TRIO 10GB (V389‐005R) Trident Z 2x8GB 3600 CL18 Corsair HX850 850 watt Psu (from this forums Psu tier list, thank you guys for that) A Samsung 980 PRO 1TB, a patriot Viper VPN100 1TB, 2 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD, and a Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB Sata SSD Cooled by a Corsair A500 and my OS is Windows 10 21H1 if it helps anyone: Here are 2 HWinfo logs I did today. 1.7.2021.afterDDU.CSV 1-7-2021.CSV
  5. Well, I tried a few things. With shadow play off the lagging wasn't as frequently but still there in Dishonored 2. But I couldn't replicate it in Horizon Zero Dawn or Control. (control in DX12 With ray tracing DLSS enabled tested it with and without Shadow play). So should I write this to the Nvidia Support?
  6. No. I only have Shadow play for saving the last 2 minutes
  7. The game was already open in the background, but with tabbing in and unpausing etc. I started playing around 0:30 and the drop happened at 1:20
  8. Hi, I have the problem that While I'm playing games the frame rate would sometimes suddenly drop from locked 144 fps to 18 or so for both monitors. After updating the drivers through Geforce Experience (to Version 457.51) and updating my BIOS (to version 1216) I started searching for problems. My task manager showed different tasks (Wallpaper engine, Nvidia Container, Steam) Taking up to 85% GPU utilization while my game task (Dishonored 2) used up what was left. Since the usefulness of task manager for GPU Stats is limited at best I looked at HWInfo to find that my GPU stays around the 80% TDP mark while gaming normally and drops to 40% while lagging. My PC'S Components are: Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (Wi-Fi) AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming OC 8G Trident Z 2x8GB 3600 CL18 Corsair HX850 850 watt Psu (from these forums Psu tier list, thank you guys for that) A patriot Viper VPN100 1TB M.2 SSD, 2 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD, and a Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB Sata SSD Cooled by a Corsair A500 Edit: and my OS is Windows 10 I don't know what exactly is causing this and would gladly accept any help you guys are able to offer Thanks in Advance
  9. Yea, its pretty awesome to see what we can produce together in a month. Especially the top 10. I'm also going to shut my PC down again, my power bill will be pretty bad (yay to German power costs). Upgrading all my PC components in this month for more than I should have didn't help my wallet either, but it put me from 400.000 points a day to 2.200.000 so that's great .
  10. I think I'm going to buy a Samsung 970 Evo with 1 TB as my 500 GB SSD is not enough as a boot drive because everything gets stored in C: even if you tell windows to store it in D: ?.
