  1. Hey there LTT Community! As the title of this post says I am a complete rookie when it comes to overclocking. Haven't the slightest idea what Voltages and setting to set up for it. I was wondering if one of you lovely folks could point me in the right direction. I have an Intel i7-8700k and it is liquid cooled - at least I thought that far ahead haha. It is socketed into an MSI Z390 A Pro Motherboard. The BIOS seems relatively easy to navigate. I was wondering what settings I should change to SAFELY overclock this CPU.
  2. Did you have your second display plugged into a different port on the GPU before? I know that I get that issue if I change the port the Display is plugged into.
  3. I am running a rather updated build and I still get periodic fatal errors with the latest CoD game on PC. It is bugged a bit, hopefully it is just on the game's end like it is for me.
  4. It sounds like either a GPU Temperature problem or a lack of Power coming to your GPU from your Power Supply. If not then yeah your GPU may be dying.
  5. The RTX cards can run rather hot - especially in an ITX form-factor build. If nothing else helps maybe getting better airflow - if you are able to - or even upgrading to an ATX form-factor build may help your issue.
  6. UPDATE: So I contacted their tech support and they are in fact sending out a replacement.
  7. Yeah I am extremely discouraged by this situation. Stuff like this never happens to me usually - maybe I was just lucky until now. I'll contact them later this morning I guess. Shipping it back to the US isn't ideal for me or what I wanted to hear but I was expecting it to end up having to be the case, sadly. Thanks for the info.
  8. Because of the pricing for buying parts I ended up opting for purchasing a prebuilt and I got it from iBuyPower.
  9. That is so stupid. It legit just got here yesterday afternoon. FML.
  10. The cable and monitor via display port still functions normally on my old PC, yes.
  11. Hey LTT Forum people! I am experiencing a really crappy problem with this new PC I have just gotten. There are these small pink horizontal lines that are moving all over the place on my screen. As well as my GPU is no longer recognizing my Display Port Cable - it will however recognize my HDMI. I think I know where this problem is going but I am hoping by the grace of god that one of you fine upstanding folks would happen to know if there is anything at all I can do to fix this issue. Enclosed is a photograph of the pink lines I am referring to.
  12. Yeah I know but I'm not looking for something super future proof at the moment. It's just that I was on a budget and this setup was in my price range and provided great parts for the price range.
  13. Awesome thanks man glad to hear that haha. I am pretty pleased with it for sure, given the current price of GPUs in Canadian Shekels and I figured I may as well get a Pre-Built from a trusted site because quite frankly when it comes to the more expensive components I am not all that confident with my own building capabilities.
