  1. Well It took a little over a year to finish with moving and everything else going on, but I can say now that is finally complete and I could not be happier. This was my first custom loop and was a little overwhelming at times. It may not be the best, but it is one of a kind and all mine.
  2. Finally got around to doing some more work on the desk. I got the motherboard, radiators, and video cards mounted.
  3. Any help designing the loop layout would be GREATLY appreciated. Below is a pic of how I think I want the components laid out.
  4. Sorry for the delayed updates, but the first desk turned out not being able to work. After letting is sit for about a week, the wood started getting soft. So back to square one. Below are some updated pictures of the new desk. I changed up the color a little bit, to go better with the theme. I now have all of the components in and should start building within the week. The video cards will be stacked to the left of the motherboard in an SLI configuration and I have another Jack bottle that will be used as a secondary reservoir.
  5. Since I am a homebrewer, I was thinking about that. I have a few extra taps laying around that I could add that would work perfectly.
  6. Nah. Primochill mixed up a solution that looks just like Jack Daniels, plus all of the waterloop will be 1/2" rigid copper pipe. So you will only see the fluid in the flowmeter and the resevior, which will be Jack Daniels bottles.
  7. Attached is the obligatory picture of the parts. Only thing left to order is the Threadrippper 2950X. Hopefully I can get the GPU waterblocks installed this weekend, and maybe the motherboard tray and PCI bracket painted.
  8. Thanks for the great vote of confidence. I am trying to figure out the pump. I am leaning towards the EK Revo or the Primochill Liang D5. Trying to make sure that I have enough to push it through both radiators, two GPU blocks and the CPU block. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would probably mount the pump/res combo under the desk or in a hidden compartment within the desk as the Jack Daniels bottles are going to be impossible to use as a fill location.
  9. So I recently got back into woodworking and computer building has always been a hobby that I love. So I got the idea to build my next computer desk from some reclaimed white oak that I had laying around in the shed. Then it hit me, lets make a Jack Daniels themed build with a full copper waterloop. I am planning to use the Jack Daniels bottles as the reservoirs, and since they use white oak in all of their barrels, I figured it would be the perfect setup. I also had an old whiskey barrel that will be cut down to use as the legs of the desk. Here are some pics so far of the desktop where the components would be mounted. This is the wood prep, resin pour, and initial sanding. Next is to get everything laid out and plan the loop. I reached out to Primochill and they were able to mix up a fluid dye that matches the look of Jack Daniels perfectly. Attached is also a rough sketchup drawing of how I am planning on laying it out.
