  1. Hey Guys, so just recently my RTX 2070 has started failing on me. Basically i could play any game on high settings without issues until yesterday. In some games like MHW and R6 the game just closes, in other titles like Forza Horizon 4 and BF5 the frames drop to 1 FPS and massive stutter. So i monitored my GPU via GPU Tweak II and Gpu-Z and MSI Afterburner. After Benchmarking i recocognized a similar pattern everytime: All games crashing/Framedroping started to crash when my GPU hit ~60 °C-not that much for a GPU under load IMO. So i checked the clockspeeds again and it seems like everytime the card hits 60 °C/games chrash the GPU clock falls down to 300 MHz and the Memoryclock drops to 810 MHz. -> this are the clocks on the GPU when it is in idling mode. So could there be something like a Safe Mode on the card which seems to be broken (~60°C should not trigger this mode.) I already reinstalled the Drivers and reseated the GPU. All Components run at stockspeeds. Should i contact my vendor for a replacement or should i wait for possible fixes with the next driver updates? I can still play as usual, as long as my temps are not hitting 60°C.
