  1. Hello, so I made a questionnaire mainly to see if the statement that “that later in the production of CPUs they tend to get better at Overclocking” is true or not or if it just another quirk of the silicon lottery. So if you own a Ryzen 3000 CPU and have or still use a manual OC can you look at this questionnaire. https://forms.gle/HpnJ9DJXRngDGcsU6 Thanks I have been posting this on reddit and in some discord server so far, I have 37 responses and will either this weekend or early next week post the results
  2. still i think its worth a try if i dont like it then i can return/refund it and then buy the HD 58x anyway. Thanks for your help much appreciated and good night.
  3. last question before i go off to sleep would the dt 990 non-pro edition be any diffrent to the HD 58X overall because before talking to you they where my 1st choice.
  4. no problem I think I will look at the 58x sadly I do not have the money ATM so will be buying it in a few weeks’ time. I also have an old massdrop account so no discount but still it looks like it going to cost roughly £160 to buy HD 58X.
  5. thanks ill have look at it i kept seeing these massdrop headphones recommended albeit the hd6xx is slightly out of my budget and id get f***** by import fees and such.
  6. if i said i wanted the same 598SR like performance but with better bass any recommendations within my budget?
  7. I am ok with it, but I have had the soundcard for ages and the headphones for 3 or so years now and after upgrading everything else on my PC this is the only thing I have not touched. And if I am to be honest, I want to get a bit better sound quality that I currently have but I think it probably going to be pointless and was asking others if I should go this route. See for the past few days I have been looking at AMP/DACs and headphones and a lot of the stuff just baffles me and the costs are rather high on a lot of recommendations so I wanted to ask somewhere that can help me with my perticiular setup.
  8. Right now I have a HD 598 SR connected to my soundcard a SoundBlaster ZX via the included “Audio Control Module” and since it is the one thing I have not upgraded for a few years I was wondering if I should upgrade anything. I mainly watch movies and TV shows and YouTube and light gaming and music in the .flac or .wav format. My budget is ~£150
  9. Folding@Home certificates have expired causing all kinds of errors this is likely the cause of the issue id give it some time and hopfully they get backup and running.
  10. I own this kit and it is 100% b die and two of these are still cheaper than the corsair kit. (Unless you require RGB) https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313712
  11. 3200 cl14 is most likely b die 3200 cl16 or higher is most likely not b die. Once i did get a kit of 3200 cl16 and it was bdie but a really bad bidded version.
  12. If you have some free time watch this Video
  13. 2 extra cores for 60% more id go with the 9600k maybe down the line get the 9700k. Userbenchmark says the 9600k vs 9700k Effective CPU Speed diffrence of 9%
