You dont understand, its locked at 50%, it maxes out at 50 and wont ever go further even tho my pc starts to lag

But it wouldnt max out, like i said before it would go to 10g max, the problem is that when i alt tab everything except forza is running slowly, even google chrome is lagging because of it

So i have 2x8gb of 3000mhz ram. I dont play anything that required more than 8g except Forza Horizon 4. I noticed that when i check my ram usage when im playing it doesnt go over 50%(8gb). It wasnt like that before, it could go up to 10 sometimes even more but that was okay. Now the ram wont go over 50% and i didnt know what to do. So i turned off the pc, took out the ram sticks and then put them back in, i also swapped their places(the left on on the right and vice versa). I boot up my pc after that, open up forza, and now the ram usage wont go over 44%(7gb). Im just baffled, now its locked to 7gb instead of 8, how? Does anyone have some similar experience?

How do i enable xmp? Also why should i overclock when it should be the base speed right?

So my ram should be 3000mhz, says so on the specs. I have 2x8gb. My mobo is a gigabyte b450. When i go into task manager it says my ram speed is only 2400. Is this supposted to be like that? I tried going into bios and changing it but the ram speed is grayed out. The 1st number says 3000mhz while the 2nd says 2400mhz, dont rlly know what this means so can someone help me out?

So i had a 5euro headset and after a couple of months the sound got distorted and i thought they already broke so i threw them away. I ordered new ones: HyperX cloud II and thought these wont be bad for sure with that price of 85euro. They just came in and guess what, sound still distorted. Ive been saving up for new headphones for so long just to find out that the headphones were never the issue, please tell me theres a way to fix this?

Title. Im a total pc noob so im sorry if i dont get this. I was snooping around my task manager and read that my ram speed is running at 2400mhz. I have 3000mhz ram so is this supposted to be like this or am i supposted to change it myself? If so, how do i change it?

Well i have 12 cores, i just checked all of them are working, some more some less but the cpu usage in general is 20-45% while the gpu usage is 50-70%

Ryzen 5 2600 couldnt be that much more powerful, csgo is a more cpu dependant game after all, maximum usage i ever saw my cpu at is 45%

Perhaps youre right, the cpu could be the issue, i assumed it was the gpu because the gpu usage would always get lower when the fps got lower and vice versa. The cpu is always running on 25-35% usage.

My CPU usage is lower then the GPU but i suppose its because Ryzen 5 2600 is a pretty powerful cpu, i couldve played smoothly even when i had a ton of things opened in the background before but now even with everything closed the issue occurs. Me and my friend both run the game at the highest settings. My memory is running at 3000mhz

My setup:gtx 1660,ryzen 5 2600, 16gb 3000mhz ram and a 144hz monitor. I play mostly CS GO. I had this pc for about 7 months now and ive never had fps below 200. I noticed some frame drops a couple days ago and the game is not running as smoothly as it used to. I used msi afterburner while playing and realised the GPU usage wont go high enough for the dedicated fps. My friend has the same cpu, an rx 580 and 8gb of ram and his game is always 200-300fps while mine is stuck on 100-200 and sometimes even below 100. Its not the game either i put it on unlimited fps but no help. Is there a way for me to tell my gpu to use more power for a specific fps number?

I have noticed it briefly on other games but thats only until the game loads a bit. So yeah currently its only on Mafia 2

I got my pc 2 weeks ago. 1660 with ryzen 5 2600. Everything was working smoothly until now. I play mafia 2 on max graphics and until now everything was always stable 60 fps. Now when i start playing it just warries from 20 to 30 to 60 for a bit and then lower nonstop. My gpu is going at 15 percent power and 40 degrees C. It sometimes jumps to 25 percent and the game gets to an unstable 50 to 60 fps and after a few seconds the gpu goes back to about 15 and the fps goes down as well. What can i do to fix thsi? Is it because i downloaded a bunch of games over the previous couple of weeks? I have a 1tb hdd and half of it is filled up with games.

Currently i get to 60-65 at most after playing csgo on highest settings for about 2 hrs straight. When i set up my fans to get to 70-80% power when it gets to 60 its 55-60 tops

After years of saving i finally got my pc. The specs: Gtx 1660, ryzen 5 2600, 8gb ram 3000mhz(will add another stick), 1tb hdd and 120gb ssd just for windows. Anyways id like to hear some tips on how to take good care of the components. I wont be overclocking btw. For example, what is the ideal temperature for the gpu and cpu? Ive been playing csgo on the highest settings and when i start the gpu is about 50°C with 70%usage. The more i play the higher the temperature. It only got to 60 tho. I downloaded msi afterburner to manage fan speed and monitor my stats while gaming. Does increasing fan speed lead to some bad side effects or is the only downside the noise?Thanks
