  1. I was trying to get on the stupid and wraith cooler yesterday and I ended up scratching my capacitors on the side. Will the board work fine?
  2. I don't understand why Sony Vegas preview screen lags. I've disabled GPU acceleration, enabled multi threading, disabled resampling. The preview screen still lags if i change the quality to draft-quarter. When i play the video the the cpu its around 70% load, ram is 60% and the rest is under 10% So whats up??? I'm guessing the lagging has something to do with the settings of the video and the settings of sony vegas but i can't pinpoint it. Pc spces Cpu: Ryzen 7 1700 gpu: Rx 580 ram: 8gb single stick storage: 860 evo ssd
  3. I just bought the Gigabyte B450 I AORUS PRO mini itx motherboard and I already want to replace it do the noisy VRM. Anyone got any recommendations for a new mini itx am4 motherboard that's under 200?
  4. Gigabyte - B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard I just bought yesterday and put into my system makes a terrible buzzing noise when i launch a game. Is there any way of fixing this?
  5. I replaced the old battery and master disaster is right. You have to really force it in to get it upside down.
  6. But if its the battery how does the motherboard still remember its changes when after shutdown? I'll try it anyway
  7. I've had my motherboard for about 2 years now and I've tried fixing it before but I gave up because it was too much trouble. Now I come back to try to fix because I'm selling my system. So, the motherboard forgets its changes in the bios when the computer restarts but weirdly, it doesn't forget changes when I shutting down. This is a pain in the ass because my ram resets to 1300mhz and my motherboard refuses to boot into windows unless the ram is 1600mhz. Also, when I restart it shows the bios for 2 seconds goes black and shows the bios again but when I shut down and turn it back on it doesn't do this. I figured that if the bios show itself again the second time it means the ram changes or any changes didn't save. My motherboard, cpu, and ram are GA Z97x-gaming 7, i7 4770k and two 8gb sticks of ddr3 corsair vengeance ram.
  8. I lost my LG 29 inch UltraWide Monitor 29UC97 power adaptor a few years ago and I'm not sure what to buy. Does anyone know where I can get the right power adaptor?
  9. It just looks better, to be honest. That's why I want a liquid cooled.
  10. Using a ryzen 7 1700 and an NZXT H200i mini itx case but I can't decide what cooler to get. Any suggestions? Going for a black/white/blue theme so I'll want a cooler that can do those colors too.
  11. Hyperthreading is like another set of cores, "but not really at the same time"
  12. I am trying to go for a really clean build so I'll just disable it in my bios and it should be fine. But thx anyway
  13. Just as IamAndre said, The difference is minimal u will only be getting an extra 10-15 frames in some games. Might as well go with a ryzen 5 2600
  14. Hyperthreading is like another set of cores, but not really at the same time. It can be useful for multitasking or some software can take advantage of the extra 6 hyperthreading. But most games these days only use 4 cores so it's not that useful for gaming. But if I had a choice between the cpus i would go with the ryzen 5 2600. Just watch some videos comparing the cpus in some games and chose which one is better for that game you want to play.
  15. Yeah, I Agree with schwellmo92, the i5 8600k is a little bit faster than the ryzen 5 2600 but the hyperthreading is a better trade-off. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-8600K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-2600X/3941vs3956 Maybe watch some videos comparing the cpus in some games. 16. Can't I just disconnect the hard drive in the bios and it won't let affected?
  17. Ok but Do I put sony vegas on the ssd and videos on the hard drive or the videos and sony vegas on the ssd?
  18. Can I use like a WD black drive instead of an SSD because SSD are not that big and I have like 10gb files to load or will that make no difference? Also, I have sony vegas opened on a hard drive and my videos stored in my ssd. if I drag in my videos from my ssd to sony vegas on my hard drive does that impact how fast it will load?
