A little more searching has solved my problem go to menu>setting>graphics>pause game on focus loss should be off.

Hi there I have a Win10 system that I game on mostly GTA V and I use OBS for recording sessions that I play. When I had one monitor I would alt+tab between OBS and GTA but I didnt want to do that anymore so I got a matching ASUS VG278Q monitor. Now that I have 2 monitors alt tabbing isnt working the way I think it should I dont know. When I alt tab to get to OBS on my second screen GTA mutes and you dont see anything happenig although the game is still runnig if I alt tab back to the first monitor. I dont want it to do that. I want to be able to monitor my gaming session on OBS on the right hand screen. Im a long time computer builder and diehard console game player. I recently built a new rig and the combo I got came with a Battlefield 4 which wasnt my main reason for bying the combo I got it for the savings. I have to say it's ok Im not used of the whole keyborad and mouse thing.plus I was actually suprised that I was able to run Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed World on my PC. After all is said and done I think I'll be sticking with my console gaming theres nothing like having all your controls in one hand or two hands.
