    Hard to say without knowing a little more information about the RAM you have, but if I had to guess your MOBO/CPU only supports DDR3, and your new RAM is DDR4. Do you have the model numbers of your old and new RAM?

    Yikes! Left the office door closed for 2 days.... Noticed a noticeable dip in PPD. And it's um..... Warm in here.... Going to stick with mostly GPU this time around. The old dell server does her best, but just isn't that effective.

    Never too early to start , getting everything re-setup to fold on the desktop today. Gives me this week to see what other nonsense I can find to fold on. Proxmox? Old Laptop? Junk Industrial PC's? Only time will tell.....

    Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with different VNC servers for Windows (10 Embedded)? Have a application where a PC part of a control scheme for some industrial equipment, for DEV work RDP is great, but the fact that it locks the screen on the hardwire display output makes it not a option for production support.

    Just a reminder! Shutterdown for awhile, let your poor poor hardware take a break. Please keep folding/boincing at least a little bit if you can! The projects that you contribute too are very thankful.

    Just dropped all the bunkers I had. Family in town this weekend so I’m not monitoring much. Just wanted to shout out everyone for the monster efforts. It’s crazy I can bunker on a 2070 for two full days and still just be a fraction of what we drop in and hour! Every little bit counts boys!

    Could really use a bonus points day here soon. If it doesn't come tonight I might have to drop the bunkers I have. 1,300ish core/hours. Would rather settle for not getting them bonuses than risk not having them processed in time.

    I'll have to experiment with it a bit. Workstation is really nice for industrial automation. Passing through USB/Network adapters is super nice, where my PC is on WWW and VM stays in PROD VLAN. Does Hyper-V allow passthrough / have you had experience with it? We need to pick up the pace just a little bit.

    Workstation -- We use Citrix for enterprise and Workstation for machine level.

    Lunchtime: Just checked team-viewer to check on the rigs at home. Laptop: screen full of memory errors and a note that says "please reinstall boinc", Other Laptop: ??? It has its wireless adapter off I think GPU/Desktop: Happy as ever bunkering VMWARE: Being its usual broken self. Ubuntu must have freaked out and it reset, didn't have BOIVNC daemon set to run at startup.

    Time for bed... Spent half the night trying to get VMWare working again so I can bunker how I want. It's a love hate with this software.

    Thank you for reminding me. I was trying to get that setup last night when I ran into the 'no yoyos available' situation.

    I was fighting with YOYO for 2 hours last night trying new accounts or new VM's trying to get any credit. They must have opened a bunch up no problem getting WU's now

    I have a little cloud compute credit to burn, figure I'll wait till 13 May 2023 00:00 UTC. Going to be a big event spread and I suspect they might try for a bonus day then.

    For SR base, it appears there are some short and average length in the Q. For those who are willing to babysit a little bit might be a good idea compared to those 10 hours ones we had before. Right now the server has some shorts @ 4 hours and the desktop with some Average @ 5 hours.
