  1. Issue found! Apparently this card doesn't work with UEFI, had to enable CSM to get it to work. Seems really dumb, but there it is.
  2. Using DDU in Safe Mode didn't solve the problem. There's no iGPU on my CPU (Ryzen 5600x). Could a BIOS update fix it? Edit: BIOS Update did not fix it, swapping between two VBIOS (Normal/OC) also made no difference.
  3. The card lights up, the fans all turn on, the EZ debug LEDs on the motherboard go from CPU, VGA, Boot, off just like a normal boot up.
  4. Hi folks, I'm getting no video output at POST after upgrading my gpu from RX 480 to RTX 3080 Ti. MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi mobo, Ryzen 5600x cpu, Corsair Vengeance LPX Ram 2x16GB, Seasonic Prime Ultra 650Watt Gold. I realize that there's a 750 Watt PSU recommendation, but would that mean it wouldn't even POST on 650 Watts? I'm feeding the (3) 8-pin power connectors from the two Seasonic PCIe cables that have 2 8-pin connectors each. MSI BIOS Version Build Date is Jan 14, 2021. I don't particularly want to flash the BIOS if it isn't necessary. The process makes me nervous. Edit: After putting the RX 480 back in the system works fine.
  5. Another question, this one about RAM clearance. I have 2 Corsair Vengeance LPX modules, according to Corsair's site they are 33.5mm tall. The Noctua site says the RAM clearance under the front fan is 32mm. I understand that the front fan can be moved up a bit, but in my Fractal Meshify C, the max cooler height is 170mm, which only leaves 5mm of room to move the fan up. It all seems rather tight. Is it going to work?
  6. Apologies if this question has already been answered. By all accounts it seems as though NH-D15 is the best air cooling available, but I'm concerned at how darn big it is. I hardly ever move the computer, so I'm just wondering if the sheer gravity has damaged anyone's motherboard using the proper installation hardware/procedure. I'm currently running a Hyper 212 EVO from a previous build on my new Ryzen 5600x. It keeps it cool enough (~80c max) to maintain 4600 GHz on Cinebench/Blender benchmarks from just enabling PBO, but it does get loud. Thanks for any advice!
  7. I'll take the wall of text over that any day, but if it isn't a problem I won't worry about it. Thanks Bombastinator!
  8. I don't know what you mean by hide bios boot. Here is a picture of the motherboard settings. The MPG logo does come up with the orbiting circles when booting into Windows 10. This glitch happens as the very first thing the monitor displays, followed by a very brief flashing underscore on a black screen in the top left, then the MPG logo comes up into booting. This glitch happens before I can enter motherboard settings by hitting delete. I have a video, but I'm a noob and it's 80 MB over 30 seconds. If someone can tell me how to compress it easily that may help.
  9. As soon as I turn my computer on, during POST I think, I get a big blue rectangle surrounded by lines that's up for less than a second. It continues to boot up as normal after that, but I have to believe there's an issue here. Motherboard is MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wifi (box said Ryzen 5000 ready so I haven't flashed the BIOS), AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, and Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz 2x16GB. I've attached a picture of the glitch. Everything else seems to be running just fine although the build is only a day old so there may be problems lurking. Thanks in advance for the help!
  10. Maybe a problem with the power switch on your case?
  11. Sounds like a video card or graphics drivers issue to me. Looks like you've already addressed the drivers. Next thing I would try is reseating the GPU and making sure it well secured in the case.
  12. Does the HDD show up in BIOS? If you have an M.2 PCIe x4 SSD installed, it will disable the ASATA3 0 and ASATA3 1 ports. If you have an M.2 SATA SSD installed, it will disable SATA3 3. Make sure your SATA data cable to the HDD isn't installed in a disabled port. Refer to your motherboard manual for more information.
  13. Also, for clearing CMOS, I don't know why everyone says to pull out the battery. Most motherboard have easier ways to clear it. Including yours. Picture taken from ROG_STRIX_X470-F_GAMING Manual
