  1. Wow, that kinda sucks hahaha. Looks like I'm gonna have to wait for some software updates then. Hoping Samsung will actually fix their stuff that is!
  2. That is the older G9, I'm talking about the Neo version. You can find it here: https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/49--odyssey-g95na-gaming-dqhd-led-monitor-ls49ag952nnxza/ Theres multiple places where it claims to be 2000 nits
  3. The Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo is supposed to reach 2,000 nits but I'm only getting 1,015. It is connected via DP 1.4 to an RTX 3080. Is there something that I'm forgetting to do? Its running the latest firmware. These are my Nvidia Control Panel settings:
  4. All of a sudden this problem started occurring. I don't use betterdiscord or any other third party software. My ping spikes from 20 to even 500. I tried disabling the 'Quality of Service' setting and that didn't help either. My ping in Discord is fine and my internet plan is 500 down 50 up
  5. Of course it has different FPS values, but I'm just trying to say that something wrong cause of that my previous build had more fps I have 16GB 3600mhz with XMP, dual channel
  6. the 2080 has lower fps then the 970 rig What should I test for?
  7. I just played a match of CSGO and I had 200-300 fps On my old rig (i7 4790k and GTX 970) I had almost stable 280 fps.. Something is really wrong I also noticed that only one core is getting used fully
  8. In training area it's stable 300 fps Through out a competitive match where everything is organized and a lot of stuff happening at the same time it can dip to 240 but does reach 300 sometimes. The benchmark is Superposition, the score I'm getting is higher that what other people get with the same setup, thats why I think its weird
  9. 1080p on a 240hz display ^ These are whilst playing Overwatch in the Training area, so not much going on 98-100% GPU usage
  10. I have a PC with an RTX 2080 and i7 8700k 4.7ghz Whenever I play Overwatch I don't get consistent 300fps whilst most steamers do.. Why does this happen? What could bottleneck it? I have my Overwatch on lowest settings and 75% render scale + max fps setting on 300
  11. This is literally what I just said I can switch it on and off and nothing changes
  12. I've used this https://github.com/Disassembler0/Win10-Initial-Setup-Script after I did a fresh reinstall of Windows to get rid of Cortana etc. The script also changes some stuff in the settings and now I don't have the little arrow on the bottom right in the taskbar. I know that I can go to [ Taskbar Settings > Scroll down > Notification Area > "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" ] It is currently switched off when I change it to on nothing changes..? What it looks like rn: https://imgur.com/eZHRKrt
  13. Maybe you are throttling because of temps? You should check both CPU and GPU. Also, I don't know if you play for fun or competitive, But most people play on all low and 75% render scale for a bigger enemy outline
