  1. just ordered these parts and waiting for them to arrive. thanks again for your help. i did end up buying a little higher mb for future upgrades if i want it. overkill for now but better to do so now than want later and have to buy another
  2. well i hadnt really given that a thought really. perhaps i will buy a few parts now and next month i will buy the ram. i play a lot of mmos and really struggle with my cpu getting lagged down. i really like to play games like elderscrolls online but really get shut down in the pvp enviroments when things are going on. perhaps the 2600 would be better just more than i really wanted to spend really. but i guess the difference isnt that much
  3. Hmm i havent really thought about mico atx really. is there any big disadvantages of going with a mico atx vs full size? i have a rx 580 i need to install on it so i would need to make sure that would fit as well
  4. Hi im currently using a fx 8350 processor and a 990fxa ud3 board with some ddr3 memory. im looking to upgrade to a ryzen 1600 but want to do so for under 300, would like to do so for $250.00 USD but between upgrading cpu, MB and ram its hard to do with new parts. im not sure if i can use my ddr3 ram with ryzen 1600 for now and upgrade later.
  5. Thank you for your help. Do you have any info as to what kinda steps i should take to clean components and the biggest question is should i remove my cooler from cpu and reapply some paste to it or just leave it be
  6. is there a site or anything that might be able to help me with figuring out if my components will fit in a case? something that like simulates a build to make sure it will work?
  7. Hey people! I have had this PC I bought from a guy on criegslit for a little under a year now. The PC runs great and all and plays games fairly well. Not that its relevant to my question for you but the specs are CPU amd 8350fx 8 core gpu nvidia geforce gtx 970 4gb soon to be a rx 580 gigabyte MB gigabyte ga 990fxa ud3 16 gb ram unknown brand and speed power cx750m by corsair and this terrible case by nzxt which i dont know what model but its older and a corsair radiator cooler for cpu The situation is I really need to change my look to this pc as it is a huge eye sore due to the radiator this guy installed on the outside of the case on the top. now why he did this i have no idea due to the fact that there is room inside to install it. But it is a little too late due to the fact he cut the top fan spots to run the tubes for the radiator to the cpu. On top of that he forgot the thing everyone forgets and that is the io shield for the MB on the back. This is not as major of an eye sore as its on the back but still annoying to see when im back there. The question is I need to change cases bad, how do i find what case i should get, what components on the pc should i change because i am unsure how old they are and what should i know about taking it all apart and putting it into a new case? I have searched your videos and cant find one for changing cases. i know it would be the same as building a new one but with dirty parts and such what kind of precautions should i take and extra steps when taking apart and putting it all back together
