  1. I was able to get to the display cable on the motherboard and take it off and reattach, but no change. I will have to get new tools and look to see if it is possible to take the display case off and possibly reattach the cable. Thank you for the suggestion.
  2. I started having issues with my razer blade 13" (2019 model) recently. I just turned it on one day and now the screen has vertical lines running from the bottom to almost the top of the screen, and it is also flickering. I was going to try to contact razer support, but once I entered my serial number they informed me that since I am out of the limited warranty (1 year), I am no longer eligible for free support. Has anyone seen anything like this before? I tried to update the display drivers, but did not help. Is it possibly a hardware issue then? Here is what it looks like. There is about a half inch of the screen at the top that is unaffected and never gets any lines or flickering. It also does this from the moment it boots up.
  3. @JohnT I got the pb-1000 a few days ago. It is awesome. So much more powerful than that sony. This thing is huge too. Barely any room under my desk now. It goes great with my Kanto Yumi's. The adjustable crossover is nice as well. I can filter out all the high frequencies that were coming out of my old one. I played some movies too and I can hear every rumble or low end sound. This sub is perfect for my room.
  4. I ordered the SVS pb-1000. Should be here thursday. I will post my thoughts on it after I have a chance to test it out. I might have to consider one of those though for my home theater upgrade once I move in a few months though.
  5. the PSA subs are a little out of my price range. I think the ps or pb 1000 will be fine for my setup in my room. Leaning towards the ported. But I would still like to hear what you think of them. Might consider them for a future upgrade
  6. Did you ever decide to try them out or not? I'm looking into getting a new sub and am looking at the pb-1000 or sb-1000.
  7. I had this question last year when I built a new system. I went with the 1440p and was 100% satisfied. Its really a matter of preference but i like the extra resolution. Not only does it look better, but it gives you more screen real estate. I can fit 3 or 4 pdfs or word docs on screen at a time. Also looks great in games.

  10. Im not sure. I believe that the monitor is decent for color reproduction, not sure the specs though
  11. any suggestions on a processor motherboard combo that is a little cheaper but sufficient?
  12. I am building a PC for someone who wants to use it mainly for photoshop and some light go pro footage editing. He is a professional photographer and wants photoshop to fly. Im not sure what is best for a photo editing rig. From what ive found it is mainly dependent the cpu and ram. These are the parts I have so far. GIGABYTE GA-H97M-D3H LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard (going in a mid case) MSI R9 270X GAMING 2G Radeon R9 270X 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card Intel Core i7-4790 Haswell Quad-Core 3.6GHz LGA 1150 84W Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600 BX80646I74790 (wont be overclocking) G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C10D-16GAO Kingston SSDNow V300 Series SV300S37A/120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (for OS) WD BLACK SERIES WD1003FZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (for programs, possibly more depending on budget) Also it need to be cheap. Was trying to get around $800 USD but not sure if I can. Also this person will likely not do any gaming on this so graphics arent to important.
