  1. I'd recommend a slightly better graphics card maybe a 1060 or even a 1070? A nicely overclocked 1070 is just about as good as a 1080 and I've heard are very reliable. If you're looking for a better CPU i would go for an Intel CPU, but that may just run you over your budget there so if you're going to do anything, get a better graphics card.
  2. If your budget is around 1800-2000 Euros, you could definitly grab a better graphics card, but right now i'd recommend something from the 1000 series as opposed to the new RTX cards. Get something like a 1080ti which im sure you could find for around 700-900 euros. If you're looking for a cpu upgrade i'd recommend upgrading the motherboard aswell while you're at it, because you can get a decent z370 chipset board for around 130-160 Euros. I'd also recommend the newest 9th Gen Intel processors, like the i7-9700K, but if you're looking for something a bit cheaper you could go for an i5-9600K which you could probably overclock to around 5GHz. Keep in mind that if you want to get a chipset Z370 motherboard and use a 9th Gen processor in it you'll need to have an 8th Gen Processor to boot into bios and update the board to support the 9th Gen.
  3. What are you planning on doing with this PC?
  4. If you make a Windows 10 install USB, and boot into it, you should have the option to upgrade windows (Not overwriting your current drive) which would preserve all of your files, just giving you a newer version of windows
  5. Just relying on that nice MSI warranty just in case.
  6. Most older games will still run on Windows 10, even if they require some compatibility settings. If your system is 64x architecture just make the leap to Windows 10. Do remember that Windows 7 is approaching 10 years old, and was not made to run newer releases.
  7. I'm starting to regret my purchase of an RTX 2070. I knew going into it that RTX had not actually been proven to make a difference and bought it purely because it was better than a 1080 and only a little more expensive. I am worried about card failures but I don't believe there have been any reported failures in the lower end RTX cards, just the 2080 TIs.
