  1. I see, I've never been a big AMD fan to be honest so im a bit on the fence with it.. In the past always had problems with the GPU's so... but it might be a route to think about yes !
  2. I use a 360mm AIO ( NZXT Kraken Z73) Im using After effects and 3D a lot for work so that why i would choose a 13900k but if you say a 13600K is fine too then i would opt for that.
  3. Thank you so much for the reply, my psu is a be quiet! Pure Power 12M 850W. I bought this one cause it has the 12v connector for the 4080 since i dont trust the splitter. For pricing its not that big of a problem since its funded by the company thank you for your concern tho!
  4. I'm planning on upgrading my pc to : i9-13900K ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI Corsair 64 GB DDR5-6000 How do these components work together? I already have a Gigabyte Aero 4080. Also will a 850W psu be enough? Kind regards,
  5. I did do ddu and then installed new drivers
  6. So have to spend even more money... nice..
  7. Just installed a new gpu after upgrading from a 1080ti. After installing everything i thought id test it with Mw 2 and the results are a bit underwhelming. I have it capped at 120 fps due to my refresh rate but it doesn't often get to that fps anyway. (116 fps +- , 99%fps = 74...) CPU utilization 64% same with GPU. Edit: Just noticed that its very jumpy 140 FPS -> 55 FPS and so on Specs : i9 9900k , 32gig 3200 ddr4 , Asus maximus XI. Also bought a new PSU , be quiet pure power 12 850W , I connected the gpu with the PSU 12 volt cable. Should i change it and use the 3x 8 pin dongle from the gpu? Any ideas ? MW2 just terribly optimised ? Game settings : https://www.linkpicture.com/view.php?img=LPic640bb54e02fbc372892813 FPS: https://www.linkpicture.com/view.php?img=LPic640bb54e02fbc372892813
  8. I've ordered the one you linked. Thanks again my friend, wish you all the best!
  9. Thank you so much for the help, i've seen one from Moddiy (https://www.moddiy.com/products/ATX-3.0-PCIe-5.0-600W-3-x-8-Pin-to-12VHPWR-16-Pin-Angled-Adapter-Cable.html) which looks like it would fit. The 180's on Cablemod do look much thinner yes but i only saw a photo of them and not an actual order/pre-order page.
  10. So i was installing a Gigabyte 4080 16GB AERO OC into a Lian li 011 but i only have like 2cm/0,8 inch space to plug in the cable and bend it. So at this point i was looking online and cable mod has an angled adapter but its thicker than the space i got. Anyone has another angled option to fix my problem or do i have to vertical mount my gpu
  11. Makes sense ! Thanks , Guess i'm buying a new PSU. Any psu with the right connector without using the 3x 8 dongle you guys can recommend?
  12. So as the title says , just bought a 4080 (rip wallet i know but needed one for work) and cant find my cooler master box with the other 8 pin connectors. I recently bought a sharkoon one for another pc so my question is if its fine to use a spare 8 pin connector from that one? So my psu is a Cooler Master Silent Pro M1000 and the sharkoon one is a Sharkoon WPM Gold ZERO Evidently i know that changing psu cables is a bad thing but i wasnt sure if 8 pin connectors are actually universal or not. Thanks in advance.
  13. So i tried flushing the cmos on both systems. The first one is still not doing anything besides having a 1 second cpu spin and then dying with further no movement even if you press the start button again. The other system i put on a "test bench" and seems to be running but i'm not getting any visuals. I will try switching up with some gpu's to see if theres any difference. I don't have another AMD processor to put in to the first machine to test that so i'm thinking i'm at a dead end there. Is there anything else you can think of that i can do to test something ?
  14. hey thanks for the reply. The systems weren't on the same power strip. The second one was in the one where my main system is also in. They do use the same Wifi but not like a specific connection to one another. I'll try to flush the CMOS later today to see if that does anything. If i do get those machines working again... how do i troubleshoot them and find out what happened or caused them to fail ? I can take out the drives and try to connect them to my main system to check the contents... but then again if theres something malicious on there i'm not to sure if i should connect them to my main.
  15. Hmmm... I've already tried changing the RAM sticks from their slot, i was thinking of taking the battery out too... didn't get to that yet. I did take out the GPU and tried using the onboard one from the AMD cpu. Didn't do much so i'm thinking maybe the cpu is broken? Do you think this could all be cause of the writing of those Logs?
  16. I see, thats a very good take on it. So you think the SSD's are totally bricked then? The first computer just does not turn on anymore. The Fans spin for 1 second and then its done... if it was SSD it would at least go through the boot sequence right ?
  17. Hey yeah thats what i tought. Though its pretty weird that both of them dont work anymore. I also would find it very strange that they would insert a virus or some sort to brick it since its a genuine company. Do you have any idea how i can troubleshoot the pc's ? i was thinking of interchanging parts to see if PSU is broken and so on.
  18. Some back story first : We at our company use different pc's to manage social media account for our clients (facebook on chrome). We contacted a company to make an automation program to do so. After a lot of testing and such we decided to let them run for a few days on 2 new computers. After about 2 hours the first computer turns off.. ( We weren't watching it closely because we were in a meeting). As we came out of the meeting i see that the pc is turned off and thought it was weird. I tried turning it on again and the fans spin for 1 second and just turns off again and after that i cant even turn it on anymore (power button does nothing). I then need to turn the PSU off and on again to have the same result : Fans spinning for 1 second. I thought the PSU or something was bricked but i didn't have a spare one so i tried the second computer. After succesfully working for 1 full day i suddenly hear a MB beep (when one restarts). So i go check and its just stuck at the ASUS motherboard start up screen. After that does nothing.. Reset button does nothing... turning it off by holding the power button works but then turning it on again does nothing. The whole thing does nothing. I've talked with the company that made it and they're saying that their program only uses chrome and therefore is impossible to brick computers. I just find it weird that 2 separate machines just don't work anymore after using their program. Also the machines were fresh installs.. didn't have anything on there. Do you guys think the program could be the cause (sorry if i didn't add enough details, i can provide more if needed)? How do i troubleshoot the machines to maybe salvage anything ..
  19. Hey mate thanks for the reply , did you have the flickering at the motherboard splash screen and bios aswell ? cause i'm experiencing this..
  20. Hey guys so a friend of mine told me there was something wrong with her laptop. I said i'd look at it andit actually does some weird things. Whenever there is a black background on the screen the screen flickers in every color.. also on the splash screen etc. At first i thought it would be just a driver issue on how she explained the problem but now that i have the device here myself i think its gpu related.. but i'm not sure. Does anyone of you have had this before ? What was the problem ?
  21. So i've had this wheel for about a year now and everything was going great until one day i woke up and saw that my pc rebooted itself. I didn't think of it as too strange until i tried starting steam and it constantly just crashed whilst opening. After a long search on what it could be i unplugged my T300 Thrustmaster racing wheel and steam just normally started up... I thought it was strange and started a racing game ( Project Cars2 , Assetto corsa), Plugged my wheel back in and the game just instantly crashes + steam aswell. I tried uninstalling the drivers and re-installing them but nothing seems to work. If i open up the program of the wheel i get an error (windows shell Common DLL errror). I'd really like to get this fixed cause i enjoyed simracing so much but since all of that i'm unable to play any racing game. Any of you have encountered the same or have any solution to this problem ?
  22. hey guys so i just built a new computer to give to my stepfather as a surprise. Everything went smooth until i started to install windows. I made a bootable usb with rufus and it worked. I ran the installation but it soon stated that there is no drive found to install windows on altough the bios does see the samsung evo 970 ssd. After searching online i read that i had to change the bios settings and i did do that but nothing seemed to work. So what i did was insert the m.2 in my own machine and allocating it with disc management. Now i thought well this must work then... Nope .. Nothing. Specs : Ryzen 5 2600 , g skill aegis 16gb ddr4 3000mgz , Gigabyte b450m ds3h , asus strix rog 1660ti Any of you had the same experience and know what i should do ? Also the settings that most people speak of in the bios seem to be different with this bios .. which makes it harder.
  23. Yes i re-installed the drivers but i got Shell Common DLL errors after that. i did this : cmd code : regsvr32 /i shell32.dll powershell code: Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Scope CurrentUser And it seemed to work...
  24. Ok so ... i found something weird really. It seems like the problem is my T300 Thrustmaster racing wheel. Whenever i unplug it and restart, open steam and run a game it runs fine. Then i insert the T300 USB cable and the game crashes.
  25. Nope nothing... i'm just running it on normal. Maybe set my bios to factory settings again to be sure ?
