  1. Too save my self sounding super dum. I doubt the way its done has changed minus software but I havent done this before so I wanted to make sure that this video is still relevant for configuring SSD as a boot drive?
  2. Thanks ! Ill probably pull the trigger on the ryzen build once i Send off the other parts for return. Thanks again for the help !!
  3. Thanks ! Im not looking for flashy! going for a cyber punky theme so this seems great. too bad my og build suffered from fanboyism and impatience. Thanks again ! Ill post some pics in a bit.
  4. I can probs return GPU, CPU. Not sure about the Strix board. DOuble oof. you are suggesting ryzen 5 into 1070 correct ?
  5. Currently I have MOBO, GPU, CPU. Noctua Cooler, PSU en route along with the case. The evolv Shift x Was only 120 cad. Im not too bugged about the Mobo but OOF. The 8350k was 200. So in all, Swap the mobo to over clock the i3 since i already have it & upgrade the GPU first. I dont think the 1050ti will hold me back at the moment as I am going from on board. I am looking to play CP77 when it comes out so Ill be looking to upgrade gpu for that. The idea around the shift x was some slight mods and the option to upgrade to some beefier gear with out lacking space to cool it. Besides its a skyscraper for the mini board XD PS. Thank you for your advice !! MUCH APPRECIATION. < 3
  6. Hiyah, This is one of the first builds I am doing for my self, I have a bit or some experience ( mostly from LTT videos !!! ). The goal of the build is dope frame speeds at low- mid settings with the ability to dabble in over clocking. Currently playing games like, " LoL ", " Let it die ", and doing some solid multi tasking. I have most of the parts so far. All parts are from amazon.ca and newegg.ca. CPU: Unlocked i3-8350k MOBO: Rog Strix H370-I RAM: G.SKILL TRIDENT RGB 16g kit @ 3kmhz but I think id like to go with something with less flair at the same speeds or 2600mhz COOler: Noctua NH-DL9 GPU: Evga SC 4Gb GTX 1050 ti SSD: Crucial 2.5 1tb Nand PSU: Corsair tx 550w 80 Plus Gold Semi Modular CASE: Phanteks Evolv Shift x I believe I would need a water cooling loop when it comes time for over clocking but to run stock I think the Noctua will be fine. I am concerned if this mobo is okay for Over Clocking ? or if there would be a better mobo to switch too for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated ! I hope everyone is having the best December.
