  1. So I have a SanDisk Extreme Plus 128GB and I formatted it to Fat32 for my switch. Sometimes when I move load it to the PC with a reader and try to change (delete/add/replace) it will suddenly become corrupted. I have no idea if there is an issue with the way I work with it or the sd itself is already ruined for good. I tried to reformat it so many times, check it with many different softwares and did a clean and long format; I even ran a chkdsk on it as well. Nothing bad came out of those tests and it always go back to functioning... until it randomly corrupts because one of my file transfers or folder creation. Is there anything I can do or is it the end for this poor sd card?
  2. I kinda want to be close to the main stage and I think there are a couple of seats still open. Anyway, join the discord server and let's decide where.
  3. Sounds great. Here's mine: Bonzay0#5842
  4. I'm going to the 2:30pm tour. I'm also not far off the convention center. I was thinking of taking public transportation, but if someone has a car I don't mind to share expenses. And even without, I'm down to meet before the tour and get there together.
  5. Coming all the way from Israel. Probably not the furthest but pretty far ?
  6. That's awesome, thank you! The little Tokyo is in Toronto, I think they don't call it that officially just between the locals.
  7. Does Vancouver have some well known Japanese restaurants? I heard Toronto has "little Tokyo" area, is there anything similar in Vancouver?
  8. Yeah I'm coming with a laptop and also bought me a Kensington lock. I will bring with me a few locks as I have to anyway cuz I'm staying at a hostel with lockers (which u need to bring ur own lock to)
  9. Got a question about merchandise here.. So based on my current ltt shirts I have I might be needing a smaller size ones... I lost some weight and was XL, now probably soon be an L. Is it possible to change the merch ticket size request I did?
  10. I don't think I'll be renting a car, so unless some one with a car is in the 2:30 tour and can pick me up from Vancouver downtown than it's 20min walk for me..
  11. I'm staying in Vancouver from the 24th till 1st of August, so if you want hangout before or after the LTX/BYOC I'm down for it. Anyway, about the BYOC.. would love to have some people to sit next to and do some teaming up or even just some friendly banter. If you guys up to it we can definitely make sure to select seats next to each other.
  12. It's more to play it safe, if for example I get a good deal for m.2 nvme than lets say a SATA m.2... Basically that's it. Now it's time to find me some deals
  13. I'm gonna bring my laptop, Lenovo Legion Y740 "17 (the one with RTX 2070)
  14. I'm coming solo to the event (and Canada in general) Would love to make friends for the BYOC.
  15. I'm leaning towards replacing the m.2 drive. Do you know if it's NVMe slot or just a regular SATA one?
  16. yeah I had someone recommending me to go whale seeing in Vancouver island, which I would love to do. That's sounds great. I'm still unsure if I should rent a car alone or not... That's why I'm asking if people want to meetup, maybe share a car or something. Also to hangout, I would love some travel buddies (be it pubs or tourist spots)
  17. All in Vancouver? If so I can meet with you when I get to Vancouver on the 24th.
  18. 1) Y740-17ICHg 81HH0036IV 2) that's what I thought as well. I'm looking more towards the SSD as I want it to be bigger than 512GB. But I'm unsure how many m.2 slots there are and what kind of m.2 slots they are. My country is a bit weird in this area.. as long as the person I'm giving the laptop is nice he will not say: "user damage" but if I fall on someone on his 8th hour or on a sour mood... You know the rest. Now I know for sure that if it isn't any damage from my side then they will fix it if there is a problem, but I want to be on the safe side.
  19. I bought the Lenovo Legion Y740 17" with the RTX 2070 to be my on the go gaming laptop. (Will also bring it with me for LTX19 BYOC) I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the hard drive and the m.2 SSD in it without removing any "void if removed" stickers. Also what the specs of the drives needs to be? (Can I put NVMe inside or just normal sata SSD? Do I need 2.5" HDD or can I use 3.5"?) I checked Lenovo website, couldn't find any information of this kind.
  20. Bummer.. Well I might go for the DIY keyboard, I'll have to see about that.
  21. Would it be weird if I said I want an original k95 keyboard with blue switches? I already own like 4 keyboards that I really enjoy, I just want a k95 for the pleasure of having one. And because I only like using blue switches I'm looking for one that was made with blue switches. I'm not looking to rebuild one, I'd rather build an entire new keyboard myself rather than changing, let's say a k95 red/brown/speed. So unless there is an original k95 with blue switches out there for sale I'm not really interested in making one. But thank you for the information any way, I will look at that site in case I want to build or remake any of my owned keyboards.
  22. Hi, So I really love the blue switches and heard that Corsair made some with the k95 series. (Which I would love to have but I only like the blue switches) Is there a place to buy it that ships world wide? Or is there an owner of one of those that is looking to sell it for a reasonable price?
  23. So I was wondering since no info was given on the issue. (Or I missed it somehow) Of course I presume security will be on site but my questions are more for the equipment that people will bring with them. (Even more so for the BYOC) Will there be a place to store safely our equipment? Even during the event it's not 24/7 BYOC so people will want to go around the place but not worry about their full customized overpriced tower to get stolen or damaged. Or even just to store your bag without worry so you can run around and enjoy more comfortably the event venue. Also will there be any safety measures provided or we should do ourselves when in the BYOC area? For example: when someone wants to grab a coffee/food/toilet and needs to leave his assigned seat. Let's say you will sell merchandise (the more expensive kind like computer gear or w/e) Will there be a place I will be able to store that? (Would love to get myself an LMG keyboard & mouse ?) Also if I'm already at the topic, will there be more types of merchandise that will be sold in the venue? (Except the ones provided by ordering with the tickets online)
