  1. Update: so after I ran the test and it said that it failed I immediately took it Google to see what this entails. According to some people, even a single error could be cause for concern, well I got 82 so that can't be too good. On other forums, people have suggested other people with a similar problem to mine, to resit the RAM sticks, test them individually in all the available slots and so on. But some people mentioned that a temporary solution could be to disable XMP. And lo and behold that has seemingly solved the issue... for now. I imagine that I will have to get a new set of RAM sticks now. No the end of the world, I suppose, it could have been my graphics card or my processor.
  2. So I ran two tests using the propietary app by Samsung for the NVME SSD and nothing came up. I just finished the RAM test and I ended with a total of 82 errors and this welcoming screen:
  3. Currently doing the memtest scan and it’s taking way longer than I expected. However, I am on the 2nd pass out of the 4 and there are 36 errors that have been discovered. Would it be safe to say that it’s the memory at fault?
  4. Good shout. My previous thread can be found here: I really did want to take a picture just before posting that comment right there, but this time it did not appear. It only appears sometimes and I can't figure what I have to do in order to get it. But I can find some pictures on the internet of how the screen looks like: It's exactly this, but instead of just two options, I get two Windows 11 options, and two Windows 10 options.
  5. Also also, I've been meaning to ask some people who are good at this kind of stuff but why do I sometimes have 4-5 different Windows boot options when I turn on my PC? I don't mean BIOS boot menu I mean an actual Windows themed screen with two Windows 11 boot options and two Windows 10 options. Even though all my drives have been formatted many times as well I have reinstalled my Windows OS many, many times during the last round of troubleshooting.
  6. I tried to see if it the drives that are causing the problem in the last post, but I am confident to say that they are not the issue. However, how should I got about testing the RAM? Also, I ran some Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool last night and it didn't find any problems. One thing that I forgot to mention in this initial post, was that my RAM usage seems abnormally high when idle. Last I checked, it should be at about 2-4 GB for when there is nothing going on. On my system, it is using 7-9 GB when idle.
  7. First off, I want to apologize to all the community members who helped me with the issue a few months back for just disappearing. After the last status update I posted, the problems suddenly all vanished and everything worked perfectly even though I did absolutely nothing. And now that the problem was solved, I kind of just forgot about this forum Anyway, I am back asking for more help because now the issue is significantly worse. Before, my game an/or PC would only crash under stress in serious video games like Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 5 and Minecraft with beefy path-tracing shaders. For more details about what was happening then, you can check my post history. But now, the crashing and/or freezing is so bad, that even watching Youtube either crashes Firefox, freezes Firefox for a few minutes and quite often, it even blue screens my entire system. Even just having Spotify playing while I do chores around the house sometimes blue screens the entire computer. The frequency at which games crash and/or blue screen is about the same as it was before (every 5-15 minutes). Last night, I was watching the new MrBeast video which was about 27 minutes and Firefox crashed a grand total of 15 times and I got a BSOD 2 times. Today, as I watch watching Youtube my playback would freeze but the sound of the video would continue, that happened about 5-6 times. Firefox would also completely freeze up and it even managed to completely freeze my entire system. I could move my mouse, but I could not click anywhere, not even on the taskbar. To get it into some sort of working state, I held the power button for a few seconds and the system shut down; however, something happened that I have never, ever have experienced before - even though the PC was shut off, all of the LEDs inside the case stayed on. What the hell is happening to my system? It is seriously starting to concern me. At this point, I can only suspect it being either the 2 ram sticks, the power supply or maybe even the processor.
  8. The big update: Yesterday, I picked up the card from the reseller; they told me that they couldn't replicate any of the crashes that I mentioned. However, they said that they still can replace the card. I've played as much as I could've today and yesterday and it went perfectly fine without any crashes. But now, I booted up Cyberpunk again and it seems like I'm right back where I started. The game is once again crashing every few minutes. I may have an idea what started the crashes this time round though. As I was working, I had my personal computer on for some background noise. and suddenly, the power went out. Didn't think much of it. However, during my lunch break, I decided to boot up some Cyberpunk and play that as I wasn't hungry. And that is where the first crash occurred. Is it possible that the PSU may be at fault somehow? Especially, that the crashes reappeared after the power went out? I am losing hope in this PC
  9. Update: took the card to the reseller and asked them about a replacement. They said sure but that they would first need to do their own testing to see if it really is the fault of the card. They asked me for instructions on how they could replicate the crashes and told me it will take a few days before I hear back. About the power supply, unless the 3060Ti does have some power spike issues (I don't know how I could even test that :D) it should be powerful enough for the card. As per Zotac's specifications, they recommend a 650W power supply, which is what I have as I mentioned in my original post. About the noise levels though, this is the second be quiet! power supply that I have owned and both have been nearly completely silent in my experience and definitely no loud clacking noises Before I bought this 3060Ti, I had an RTX 4070 that I ran for a few months without any issues before I had to return because of insane overheating problems with the specific model that I got. I've got my fingers crossed that it was just the card, and that they can get it replaced. Don't have the money for a big power supply upgrade atm
  10. Quick update: before going to bed, I decided to continue doing some testing. I have the same underclock and in game graphical settings, and the game still crashes. Does that mean that it is still the graphics card's fault?
  11. Alright, thank you! I will post another update here tomorrow on whether or not I was able to get either a replacement card, or at the very least a refund. Hoping for the best
  12. Also, one thing still doesn't make sense to me. Why do my games crash when I try to play them but the benchmarks I have ran worked completely fine? I feel like I need some sort of an answer cuz the place I got the graphics card from, only lets you run benchmarks and not games, so if I want at least a chance to either get my card replaced or get my money back, I will have to have some sort of explanation for that
  13. UPDATE: during my lunch break, I underclocked the card by turning the power limit from 100% to 50%, and I also took of 502MHz from both the core and the memory clocks and ran Cyberpunk 2077. Maybe it's a little early to draw conclusions, but the game did not crash and I played for about 25 minutes, which was mind mindbogglingly long since the game usually crashes after a few minutes. However, the game did seem like it WANTED to crash at a few point, I'm sure there is a term for what I was experiencing, but the best I could describe it was at a few points with a bit more going on, the audio went a little funky (if you've had your game or your system crash you know what I'm talking about). It didn't crash once, but I think I should do more testing before concluding that it is the graphics card's fault? Or is that enough data to base off a solution off of?
  14. I've certainly have heard of GPU-z, I guess I could also take a peek there once I'm able. However, unless something is really, really wrong, I don't think it will be of much use to me since I am really not technologically inclined
  15. I'll have to try that after work. Will post an update later.
