  1. For those of you that own it, can I use it off to the side of my keyboard on the desk or is it bad? I don't want to have a mount for it, and my monitor has too little boards so I can't attach it to the top like people do on laptops. I'm getting a little out of options on mics, where I live most that people recommend are too expensive/not available. My other option of USB mics would be the Blue Yeti Nano for about 130 USD which I want to use off to the side as well.
  2. I want to have my headphone + a headset connected at the same time, so I can switch the playback device whenever I game. Is that possible? I don't want to use the front connection though as I'd need to have some wires hanging all the time. My motherboard is a MSI B450 Gaming Plus. I'm asking before I buy the second headset, just in case.
  3. Yeah I watched GM`s video on it, I got it on sale though. So here`s the thing maybe you can help me, the RAM I was gonna get is out of stock, so the only one with a decent price on this store is a 2666mhz. Do you think I can overclock that to 3000mhz at least? I know Ryzen benefits from that, but if I buy the 3000mhz from another store it`ll take 10 days to deliver, meanwhile the 2666 arrives Friday. I don`t have any RAM here to use and I need to start working, is the 2666 that bad? If I could overclock it some I wouldn`t mind having a lower CL too.
  4. I plan to buy it today, can you check to see if it's everything alright with it? AMD - Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor MSI - B450 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard Crucial - Ballistix Tactical 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Crucial - Ballistix Tactical 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Seagate - BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (already own) Samsung - 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (already own) GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Case - NZXT H500 PSU - Corsair CX650W Bronze (2017) I plan to overclock the Ryzen with the stock cooler, and the memories to 3000-3200 if I can. Is that PSU enough for this? This board does have bios flashback for Ryzen 3000, right? Anything else I should check? Thank you.
  5. Save up and get some good stuff next year if you feel like it, maybe an 80 series card.Your CPU will do fine.
  6. Well it's a 3.2 base, just thought it could do him good to have it at 3.9. It doesn't need much to overclock it, you can get some with the stock cooler if the case is decent from what I read. And one of the main differences about the 2700 and 3700x is the frequency really. If it relies that much on threads then it shouldn't be much of a difference between the 2700 and the 3700x, right?
  7. @Messer Donwide You'd need to overclock the 2700. Try to look for that specific program benchmarks with the 2700 and ask your friend if the timings suit him.
  8. Websites are saying 23rd of July for the 2080 super.
  9. I think the 2080 super comes out in July though.
  10. Alright so here's the deal: I need to be productive in the next 6 months, and I can't do it if I have a high end GPU sitting there waiting to be used. My current computer would do fine for the 6 months but my father needs it, so I need one from scratch. I'm buying Ryzen 3600 or 3700x depending on reviews, for my future usage including gaming. So I need to run Windows for the next 6 months for productivity (basically studying, coding, stuff like that) and I don't want to waste money buying stuff that I won't use early next year already. Ryzen was a settled choice for me, but my old GPU broke last month so it kind of ruined my plan. (it was old enough that it didn't allow much gaming so it was okay) Probably buying something like a 2080 or equivalent early next year, so my goal was to get my Ryzen already and use anything that could run my monitor's resolution on Windows like the integrated graphics of my i7 4770.
  11. Ryzen is better and cheaper. The problem I'm seeing is, if I have to pay 70 usd for a GPU to go with it I'll have to think about it again. Never knew I'd value integrated graphics as much as I do now.
  12. Yeah I'm still researching about that. HDMI with 50FPS would be ideal I guess.
  13. Yes. Same as an integrated graphics from intel.
  14. I can run currently on Integrated graphics, using Intel. Budget is the cheapest I could run it the same as integrated graphics, but using Ryzen 3000.
