  1. But there's a problem. I can't use the nh d14 cooler. Because the outer fan doesn't spin. The inner fan does work. I am afraid that the Ryzen will overheat.
  2. I am planning to build a brand new pc. I am upgrading my old Core 2 quad q9650 and GTX 580 build. I am planning to sell it for around $200 USD. Things that I have got lined up from my girlfriend's brother.... Asrock X370 Taichi - $75 16gb 3000mhz cl15 ram - $30 I am planning to go with AMD, because most of the reviewers that I watch recommend zen2. I am getting that x370 Taichi from my girlfriend's brother. I told him to update the bios to the latest available version, so that it supports zen2. I am confused between MSI b450 mortar max and x370 Taichi as both are available for around the same price. But I feel Taichi was a flagship product back in time, so it should be slightly better. I am located in Austin, TX. My budget for this build is $800 or as low as possible. I have recently purchased a 1440p 144hz monitor from Acer. I was planning to get a used 1080ti for $450, but I have heard that rx 5700xt is a slightly better card. Things that I am planning to keep from my old build... 500gb 860 Evo (It's still under warranty) and Seagate barracuda 2tb. (Planning to get a old HDD for $10 and putting in the old build that I am selling) Noctua nh-d14 cooler. (I have got a spare Intel stock cooler. Will put that on my old rig which I am selling)
  3. It is an Intel 600p 256gb nvme ssd.
  4. It was a seagate firecuda. I dont remember about the ssd. It's m.2 form factor. I am sure about that. How much should my read speed be?
  5. Okay, i have a pc consisting of a ryzen 5 processor and 16 gb ram and one 256gb SSD and one 2tb SSHD. My friend recently purchased a brand new pc which has a samsung drive with way faster speeds. So, is there any need for me to upgrade as my ssd is already 2 years old. It still works just as fine, pc boots in under 10 seconds. It takes a little longer time than 10 seconds when there is a windows update. I found a tool on internet to calculate the ssd speed. So, guys can you guys check it out and tell if my ssd is still reliable in 2019?
  6. stop stealing my name ideas /s

  7. Last night, i saw @JayzTwoCents video on budget PC that doesn't suck which I thought was misleading in many ways. New PC builders will watch his video and build something that is not worth their money. Here is something that I have made in just a matter of few minutes that can outperform his build. He says rx580 isn't necessary coz we are targeting at budget section which is hilarious. I know there will be many haters who will come at me. And I am ready for it. 10. Windows 10 is similar to Windows 98....if I am not wrong. I have been a macOS guy from the beginning...
  11. I have an old MacBook air 2011 that's in working condition. But my dad doesn't know how to use MacOS.
  12. It's basically fr my dad and he is familiar with Windows
  13. Ok...so my dad is using a really old PC for his office needs. He uses it to answer his emails, watch news and Facebook, and storing pictures of his grandchildren. Following are the pictures of his system... This system is literally 20 years old and it's running Windows 98. So, I planned to build him a new system with all new parts. My budget is around $500 USD. Also include a new mouse, keyboard, monitor and a webcam in the budget.
