I already have a Nvidia shield so it is a compelling value to me

If all else fails i can just wait till i get the 1070 and use hdmi 2.0
-
It supports 144hz on my benq so in theory isnt that the same amount of information as 60hz 4k
-
I am 100% sure it can http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/feature/digital-home/displayport-vs-hdmi-whats-difference-3535257/

Hi, I just got this new Crossover 289k that Wendel from TekSyndicate reviewed. I have connected it via displayport to my GTX 770. Displayport 1.2 is advertised to be able to do 4k 60hz and both my monitor and the 770 support it. I am using the Amazon basics displayport cable which is displayport 1.2. The best I have gotten is to have 4k 30hz. I have browsed the menu of it as well and cannot find any reference to changing of displayport type. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am trying to pick up a second monitor to my 144hz benQ and i wanted something that is a little bit better than 1080p (1440p ,2560x1080 ultrawide ). The only ones i can find so far are the Qnix qx2710 which is really shady in my opinion and the LG 25UM57. Any other options would be good and i would like to stay around 200. Thanks

I need long battery life above all else

Do you have any experience with the battery life with sagers 14 inch 1099$ laptop
-
I like it except for the weight and the thickness also the battery is less then stellar

Sound clipping, video editing and general everyday school work along with installing Linux

Hi, I am in the market for a new laptop and I can't seem to find a nice looking reasonably thin and light ultra book around 1000$ the only decent options are the xps 13 which only has a 128gb ssd on the close to 1000$ model or the macbook pro which I know is a lot more. I want to try to avoid the macbook pro but I want large battery and decent cpu. Ideas. Thanks.

I am looking for a laptop that is light enough for me to carry it easily has an i5 and a 256gb ssd preferably. As well as very good battery life above all else and 8gb of ram. I like the xps but the 256gb 8gb of ram version is above my price point and the Mac pro has everything except 128gb ssd. Thanks

I found the problem put this in as the cmd file I found a fix for it on that forum link: REG QUERY "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\UpgradeExperienceIndicators" /v UpgEx | findstr UpgEx if "%errorlevel%" == "0" GOTO RunGWX reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Appraiser" /v UtcOnetimeSend /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f schtasks /run /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser" :CompatCheckRunning schtasks /query /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser" schtasks /query /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser" | findstr Ready NOT "%errorlevel%" == "1" ping localhost >nul &goto :CompatCheckRunning :RunGWX schtasks /run /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Setup\gwx\refreshgwxconfig"
