  1. I don't think he needed to do that...all components are off the shelf and i'm sure you can find many reviews of an 8700 w/ a h100i in a micro atx cassis, as well as temps for the 2080.
  2. I was just playing around in pcpartpicker, and I think I made the Corsair Venegence PC killer. It has double the ram, and a faster M.2 NVMe SSD. I tried to use mostly Corsair-made parts (execpt I didn't use their MP500's, those are way overpriced). For anyone wondering, the cost of a 3 year warranty for all parts (and 3 year data recovery for both drives) total via Amazon is $60.95. The only thing not covered is the chassis, but some come with a one or 2 year warranty with them, but i'm not sure if this has that. Here's the link: https://bit.ly/2RGfAzR I'd like to get some opinion on this.
  3. you can use Nvme or sata 6 drives (B+M), typically, in a m.2 slot. Since you are using a 1800X, you should have enough pci-e lanes, even with a x16 slot populated
  4. oh yeah that's right. X is for AM4/TR4
  5. first, you have to make sure you have an x-series motherboard, otherwise you will not be able to overclock
  6. So, i'm still running a 6s, and I love it - but my case broke and now I need some suggestions for a black, durable case for under 15 bucks off of amazon. I did some of my own research with nothing matching my style (simple, streamlined). Please help. Thanks
  7. Isn't he doing a stream right now on someting Digital Storm sent him? Pretty sure it's just about what you are describing.
  8. So, I got carried away on PC Part Picker, and made a US $21,000 build. I think it should be used as the Compensator 3.0. Or maybe I have problems. You decide! 2018-12-28 17-14-11.mp4
  9. @nicklmg Hey guys, I have an old Radeon XFX ATI HD-545X card from my parents' old 380 that I saved before we threw it out. I never got a chance to really play any games on it because it was never really properly installed.. I'd love to lend it to you for...testing purposes. notice me plz
