Hey, I'm new to amd, and just playing around with some OC on the 3600..... Not sure if this is all it can do, my old Intel could hit 5ghz easy but not this one it seems..... Be awesome to have some insight, pic of it running a stability test in aida64..

Haha. Tested everything and nothing, she's dead.. Ah well fixed it in my own way with the use of an led strip... Not bad really
-
Yes of course.. Has rgb headers and io shroud rgb... So I took it off the io shroud and it was all plugged in so I think that's dead. And my 2 rgb headers only light up white. And still no go with any aura software

After fresh install your license key should work just fine... Leave your storage drive unplugged until windows install is done., have heard it can play up when they are both connected.. And with your storage drive it might not show up in windows right away, you will have to import a foreign disk within disk management to make it visible

This is a 280 kit in s340 elite.. You have to have the fans pushing through as it won't fit the other way around because of from io. And yes it pushes air through the rad easily airflow is not a issue here

pretty have much 2 options, a standard 2.5" ssd(cables) Or a nvme m.2 ssd, as that m.2 slot on your motherboard only supports PCIe m.2, your cheaper option is the 2.5" ssd.
-
i dont think you can use the sata varient of an m.2 in that slot. im pretty sure bieng a pcie m.2 you would have to use the nvme type... or just use a normal 2.5" sata hard drive like enderman pictured abov
-
1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M Key, type 2260/2280 storage devices support (PCIE mode)
-
it all depends on what he wants to use it for, if its just games and general use then yeah a 2.5 ssd would be fine, like he said he hates cables, so maybe a standard m.2 sata ssd would be the go...
-
i would go the m.2 anyday of the week, It's important to note the difference between an M.2 SSD and an NVME M.2 SSD. NVME is lightning fast whereas normal M.2 SSDs are quite similar to your standard 2.5" SSD.
