  1. I put my old psu back in my computer and it works just fine now, returned the new one and got my money back, thanks for all the suggestions. Next time I will go with a brand like Corsair or another well known brand
  2. I think I will try and use the old psu tomorrow and see if it works and if it does I’ll take the new one back to microcenter for a return. I’ll keep you updated and thanks for suggestions
  3. I haven’t tried the old psu at this point, unless it came from nvidia overclocked I haven’t done any manual overclocking, and I have an 8 pin plugged into the card and my mother board has an additional 8 pin (in addition to the 24 pin)
  4. I recently upgraded from a 600 watt power supply to a PowerSpec 850 watt rgb power supply. I got it all set up and it worked at first, then I opened a game, and the cards fan started spinning really fast then the displays went blank, I had to restart the pc for it to work again. But unfortunately I got the same fan spin and blank displays, I tried one last time and this time the card spun the fans really fast and actually turned off the card, is this something I can fix in settings or did I screw myself with a psu I can’t use? Specs: Cpu: i7-8700k Gpu: 1080 FE Motherboard: Rog Strix Z370-H Gaming Psu: PowerSpec PSX 850GFM
