    The acer you've mentioned is a decent spec for $500. the 8th gen i5 should fly through general tasks. Don't expect much from the MX250, you'll probably get 30ish fps on PUBG at native resolution, if you would be looking to play that, i'd recommend putting a bit more cash towards getting something with a GTX 1650 or better - for example this lenovo ideapad L340.

    Windows 7 keys still work when upgrading to Windows 10, but not sure if Microsoft would allow it if you get audited. Better off just getting Microsoft E3 licensing for the business and it includes the OS (and a hell of a lot more features!) for the same price as the normal Office 365 E3 license. We've just migrated from 365 E3 to Microsoft E3 recently.

I provide IT support for ~ 200 end users, who have a wide range of specialties from CAD technicians to accountants.
