  1. Sure bud, thats how a Tech Company works! Hey LTT you fire up that loom and start spinning those shirts up once the cotton arrives? You fire up that single shirt press yet? Cause thats how you would do it! How about your CNC pin making machines! LOL this is hilarious.
  2. You are running 5 commander pros? If thats the case I would want a USB header for each, not adding a splitter.
  3. What is your daisychain needs? How many connections? Fans shouldnt need USB even for monitoring? Ive done lots of neat watercooling builds (quite extravagant to, triple radiators push pull etc), not sure what is all getting plugged into those headers.
  4. I just know that is the splitter I choose for a large project that failed miserably. I have no other experience with USB 2.0 splitters. I had 4 of them, and not 1 worked as "intended" to even split the USB header as viable. If I plugged in one device it might work, but eventually dropped. Most the time just cycled the things connected to it (as plugged in, not plugged in, rinse repeat). Also had the same boot issues you described. The only splitters Ive used that worked was USB 2.0 male (not header splitter) adapters that broke out to additional 2.0 slots.
  5. What USB 2.0 splitter Ive used these, they suck massively - never once got them to work as intended 9pin USB Header Male 1 to 4 Female Extension Splitter Cable Connector Adapter (amazon.com)
  6. So lets eliminate an adapter issue - if you remove the adapter on the USB C I/O does it allow the splitter you plugged in to work?
  7. So you have the USB C I/O filled with a adapter And you plug another adapter into the USB 2.0 header on the motherboard and it no longer lets you use the adapter on the USC C I/O Just making sure I have this correct before moving forward
  8. Ive found these cheap USB splitters are junk. Likely the real problem. Ive never had one that worked as intended unfortunately. THe only way it would block a rear IO header, is if they are connected to that communication of the 2.0 header (which I dont see how that is possible) - try another USB header on the mainboard.
  9. Sounds like your heat sink is heat soaked. Need more surface area to dissipate the heat away from the CPU - if it has no where to go it stays with the CPU (basically)
  10. Slap in a 2060 and you got nearly the same rig I drive daily. Good stuff. I play at 1080p and its great for everything I throw at it.
  11. Brand or skew (Module PN) is on the QVL? https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X670-AORUS-ELITE-AX-rev-10/support#support-memsup Id also mess around with CMOS if it is (module PN) on the QVL. Then Id reseat the CPU Then Id probably say F it and send back the board
  12. Id try another set of ram sticks. If its stuck as red on DRAM - without the owners manual in front of me - tells me its not accepting the RAM to post - have another stick to try? And the skew was on the QVL?
  13. Is the header on your mobo that the AIO is plugged into for a watercooling pump header? Most modern motherboards have a Waterpump 4 pin, a CPU fan 4 pin and an extra CPU 4 pin and a quick google shows your does - but why do you need a pump tachometer? The software should monitor and allow control for all of that? I personally dont use Corsair software anymore since iCUE was implemented.
  14. Shirts cost me around $7 each, a pin and a sticker - $1 They gonna make a killing.

  16. I did not know Hi Point made a 10mm lol so I picked one up today, 100 rounds for it and some powder for my cannon
  17. CMOS - battery saves BIOS settings Dead CMOS - doesnt really matter unless you are needing custom profiles in your BIOS - replacing is cheap and easy but I dont see this mattering. CMOS button flash is for when you need to reset BIOS settings, like if you are working on overclocking etc and just want to start fresh As for the AIO - are you using the Commander Core to plug this all together?

  20. NP! My buddy is one of those guys who buys and upgrades to the GREATEST hardware available to consumers every release - we WoW Raid together. He has the same stutters in areas I do - and Im on a few generations behind. Comes down to network typically (because theres tons to parse out whats going on from peoples computers all over the world - in 1 second to makes the frames)
  21. With online games (I play WoW to) there is a ton of other stuff going on, and a CPU upgrade wont necessarily fix that. I wouldnt upgrade that CPU to play WoW. Wife plays on a 6700XT and 5600X and any frame issues typically is network related. There is included delay in the network telling you, in that 1 second, what to put on your screen so your CPU builds that bag, GPU can fill it. Just my 2 copper coins
  22. Comes down to this: CPU builds a bag, that holds FPS The GPU has 1 second to fill that bag with FPS It fills it with what it can in that second If its not being utilized it doesnt have a big enough bag to created for it by the CPU (or network information, etc its more than just this) to need to be at full throttle to perform in that 1 second
  23. We do armed security at our trade shows - and there is no way this is discussed with someone other than the security team and management lol
  24. My buddy had the humble sub, and before he de-sub'd (reasons above, quality of games went down over the years) he still had like 3 picks from every weeks bundle left for over a year. I got so many free games from him. Humble legit as it gets.

I bought a "nice ass" gaming chair - 1 year later that exceptionally done quality was falling apart at every seam, plastics shrouds broken, arm rests no longer go up or down, etc. I have old office chairs that last years and thats what I use now personally
