I'm looking into getting a pair of headphones I can use to listen to music and game with on the side. I want over-ear headphones and closed back ones since I want to be able to use them in shared spaces. I have done a little bit of searching and these (https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=29514) seem well recommended and well suited to my use case. Does that sound right, or would a different headset in a similar price range be more appropriate. On top of that, would these headphones require an external amplifier or DAC to work well?

Is there a way to compare them for myself, or see which one I prefer?

Quite a variety of music, but a lot of classical

I am just interested in headphones. I already have a microphone. Audio quality is important to me, however so is comfort.

What could I get for ~$70-120?

Recently I have been looking into getting a set of over ear headphones to improve my computer using experience. I currently am using the free earbuds that come with iPhones from 5 years ago. I have a variety of uses including listening to music, streaming video and gaming. Are there any headphones that would be appropriate for these uses and be a noticeable upgrade over what I am currently using?

I have been recently programming a lot in Java using Eclipse. I have heard good things about IntelliJ and I was wondering whether it is worth switching to it. I would appreciate any advice.

Do either of you have any recommendations for a tutorial or setup guide?

I recently learned how to use Java, and as a project I am interested in creating a simple backend for a webapp with java to be hosted on heroku. I am planning on the webpages being written in HTML, or possibly React.js. I have started off using Java servlets and Tomcat and am wondering whether there is a better solution.

I am looking to buy a webcam for video conferencing. Does anyone have any good suggestions for under $50-60?
-
Upon the recommendation of people on this site I have used Kinoni EpocCam as a webcam for various online meetings. Today, however, it did not work. I opened a list of services and the kinoni service was not running. When I tried to start it it said: WIndows could not start the Kinoni Service service on Local Computer Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, but it still does not work.

Is it possible to use an iPhone as a webcam for a Windows computer?

I currently back up my computer to a hard drive using Windows' built in backup utility, however I would also like to back it up to a second drive. The windows utility supports only one drive. Does anyone have a suggestion for software that I could use to back up my computer to a second hard drive?

@airdeano I recently adjusted the tightness of the bearings and moved the tray up a little with the knobs on the bottom and was able to print what you sent me. What were the settings you used to slice it?

intel might have further delayed 10nm (refuted by intel)
Billy Pilgrim replied to spartaman64's topic in Tech News
I wouldn't be surprised if Intel just skips 10nm for 7nm. -
This is surprising since I have been able to print the sample prints included with the printer without any artifacts I will look at the video and documents.

More Intel Exploits, not CPU this time. TPM-FAIL
Billy Pilgrim replied to BabaGanuche's topic in Tech News
Someone better tell Intel that using new security flaws to draw attention away from older ones is not a valid long term strategy. -
The one you gave me. I did increase the temperature to 225 C because that's what it said on the box I got the PLA in and it didn't stick to the bed otherwise

@airdeano I have managed to get the first layer to work by increasing its width to 30 mm and adding a raft. However, when I print something, the prints to not always come out great. Do you have any idea why this is?

What a surprise! If anything, showing advertisers that they have strong control over their platform and entire user experience is going to gain more of them. -
I changed these setting and it work a little better. However, the first layer still prints a little bit too high and does not land on the bed where it is supposed to and later on in the print the model detaches.
