  1. So here's the scoop, bought this brand new graphics card, installed it .leds turn on but fans don't spin and it isn't being detected in device manger ,the vga light was on but I got it to turn off and it still isn't being detected by pc,

    System specs

    I9 10900k 2x m.2

    32gb of ram

    Z490 gigbtye vision d

    1300 watt psu

Side note I recently heard my psu fans ramping up and going back down .wonder if my psu is just going bad I've owned it 4 years and have over clocked three cpus with it .my 1080 ti however is being detected by pc .please help

Just set the settings you told me to , except the OC and im getting some weird spikes.  From 90 to 150 , im assuming its the CPU. Im just going to wait for the new Ryzen line up. Thanks.

Dsr does do that sometimes, usually a indication the driver is faulty.

  3. I'm curious if there's anyone out there who has managed to use the g12 bracket to watercool it ?does anyone know about those vrm thermals in the back of the card.i just want to see if anyone has this information or maybe could point me in the right direction as far as where to look

  4. My question is how long have you been playing warzone?only curious because some cod updates have in my opinion bogged down some fps ,what resolution you using ,is everything maxxed out?

I have 1080ti  gigabyte extreme  version owned for 4 years only owner tbut it's watercooled with g12 bracket. The cpu I paired with it is 10900k , however I was using a 8700k and I still got over 170fps  in 1080p sometimes even with ray tracing on , 4k usually averaging around 85fps.make sure in Nvidia panel lod is set to allow not clamp ,force mutli thread on ,make sure it's in high performance ,turn off the filtering options ,make sure the gpu profile is set to 1080 ti,make sure physx option is set to 1080ti not cpu .i use precision x16, Id assume your using msi afterburner. try a slight and I mean a slight voltage increase after a decent mem overclock .my cards sits at 2038mhz or core clock and 5613 on mem.when I have had issues in past with frames I would overclock the gpu slightly by slightly I mean 2076mhz core clock and 5800mhz mem clock keep in mind I have alot of headroom because it's watercooled .maybe a really slight overclock on mem.the card might be throttling though, also do a disk clean up admin though, you would be surprised how that copied delivery optimaztions can be in the 2gb range of data ,would suggest driver booster and advance system care for overall system performance, hope I helped

    My current build is 10900k gigabyte z 490 vison d 1080ti    32gb of ram 1300 watt psu

    Intel 665 m.2 nvme1tb

    Samsung 960pro m.2 name 1tb

    Samsung 850 1tb

    Samsung 850 500gb

Digital node, as in the post code display?

Idle temps dont tell much, put it in full load (say prime95 smallFFT) and see what happens

I got it 😁, the post code was just displaying different numbers making me skeptical, but I got the 10900k stable at 5.2 GHz stable temps at 37c .I just used some real world testing by playing insurgency sandstorm worked great fps is buttery thanks for responding to me and being helpful 😀

I'm using the term on the manual, but it's a digital display that shows numbers  in sets of two  ,no when I power it on it says 65 on the display not even past the bios yet I'll check the fan and see what's going on with it , weird cause it wasn't acting up on my z390 just a week ago

I'm using that digital display I turned it off for fear I'm might burn down my rig ,I'm might be just paranoid

I'm not sure what you mean by "digital node" or "node calibrating". Never heard these terms before.

    What are you actual specs?
Is 65c while playing a game or stress test or something? Or is it idle without anything open on boot? What do you use to check the temperature?

The fan not spinning could mean 3 things. It's being prevented from spinning. Its power is limited in the bios. It's defective.

  8. I recently bought a z490 gigabyte vision d mobo,I put the CPU everything turns on but digtal node says 65 c and above or does the node mean something else ,never had a digital node on my other motherboards, also one of my fans not related to the CPU fan isn't spinning but lights turn on I can see it jerking though maybe once but then nothing but lights being that this is a brand new cpu I just shut the computer off so it didn't overheat,I got a thermaltake 360 aio hooked up to i9 but it doesn't seem to be working or is the node calibrating, please help I trolled the internet and couldn't really find a decent topic with right references to my issue

Yeah, just plug in the drive that you want to format alone and boot the windows repair use the command line to format it. or you can hotplug it when after you boot windows normally and just format it that way. Just like I said, if it has the same ID number for some reason, that might make it misidentify the drive.

All three drives are working in Harmony, had to reformat the drive causing me issues ,now downloading the lost data .thanks for you response and help

Im confused, can't I just boot with m.2 into windows on z370 and format the 850 that's causing the issue and then try to boot all over again on z390  board

Boot without the drive causing the problem, go into the bios and tell it to boot the drive directly. Boot into windows, boot into safe boot, reboot back into windows, and then connect the second drive. In theory that should make the BIOS catch the right boot manager.

The other option here is to explicitly edit the boot manager so that it boots the right drive.

However I suspect your problem might actually be that the drive has the same id uefi id string on it if you cloned it at some point, in which case you might just need to reformat it.

I should just reformat the 850 Evo and problem solved yes? I mean hopefully, unfortunately I'll have to reinstall z370 to do it on as that's the only board that recognizes all 3 ssds with no error.

I think I might have to choose your third option ,I did clone m.2  960 pro fr 850evo and that must be why it's occuring on new motherboard .but it's weird it doesn't do it on z370 where I cloned it from long ago .

you could instead just remove the boot manager without removing the data from the drive. it still has the issue, even if you change the boot priorities?

When I disable the 850 Evo where the bootmanger is it lets the m.2 boot in flawlessly with the other 850 Evo I have that's 500gb no problmes .just apparently problmes when I boot in with the one 850 that has some old windows files on it apparently, funny thing is the problem doesn't occur on my z370 gigabyte board so it's really odd
