  1. PCIe 8-pin = 150-watts PCIe slot = 75-watts Total combined power = 225-watts You'll be fine.
  2. The 4080 was priced poorly to push people to old RTX 3000 stock. The high-end RTX 3000 stock is largely depleted now (Newegg is showing the RTX 3060 Ti as the highest-end RTX 30 card in stock), so I would expect Nvidia to make a price adjustment to realign their products, especially with the 7900 XT/X just around the corner. This does not apply to the RTX 4090, though. It's a halo card, and as such, the price can be inflated compared to other lower GPUs and it will still sell.
  3. Yes, a 4090 will annihilate a 3090 Ti in all situations. Period.
  4. Fortnite might be CPU limited. Not sure. Have you checked to see what your CPU utilization is?
  5. Have to agree. If you're primarily doing gaming, the 5800x3D is a no-brainer companion to an RTX 4090.
  6. I got a Windforce, and so far, it's been fine. Been throwing everything I can at it, and nothing phases it. Even the lowest cards are completely overbuilt. Based on what I've been reading, you have to throw some major power at the 4090 to get even a modest overclock.
  7. 1660 ti, you would be better off with a high refresh rate monitor than higher resolution.
  8. Buying a GPU is voluntary, while true abuse is involuntary. Nice try.
  9. Yes.... YES!!! THAT'S RIGHT!!! My Grandmother also needs a new GPU for her PC. But definitely not a 4090. No... definitely not... boycott Nvidia!!! *hides bag with 4090 in it*
  10. Yes... Let's all boycott Nvidia!!! Nobody buy the RTX 4090!!! BTW, I think Micro Center opens at 8am tomorrow... you know, just so you can go there and watch other people buy them.
  11. About the same as a 3090. Also, it completely depends on where you live, and if you're running it only for gaming, maybe a few dollars a month.
  12. All of you do realize that a business's first priority, especially one that is publicly traded, is to make money so that share holders see a return on investment, right? How much money they make is completely determined by the consumer and their spending habits.
  13. 3DMark - Port Royal benchmark. What are the other specs of your system?
