  1. I recommend the Intel i5-8600K This will last you a while and thanks to Overclocking definitely worth the price
  2. Hi, I got a PC at home that has seen better days and I'm trying to get the most out of it before I have enough money for my next build. I'm trying to Overclock my MSI Radeon R7 250X Afterburner but I never overclocked before and don't want to mess up my PC. I don't even know if I can overclock it. Specs: Intel Pentium G3258: http://amzn.to/1RdTm6y MSI Radeon R7 250X: http://amzn.to/1pfG1hr MSI H81M-E34: http://amzn.to/1HtBBGU 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport: http://amzn.to/1RdTsuZ 1TB Western Digital Blue: http://amzn.to/1pDLCP1 430W Corsair CX430: http://amzn.to/1HtCjDY Fractal Design Core 1100: http://amzn.to/1MeD2ei
  3. What kind of GPU are you using?
  4. This error code got mentioned in a Teckquickie Video. check it out!
  5. Check out this one: NZXT Kraken x62 inkl. AM4 https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/nzxt-kraken-x62-inkl-am4-3cm-cpu-kuehler-6364023?tagIds=76 Sorry for posting Swiss URL we don't have Amazon there
  6. Hi, I am looking for some feedback about this CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken x62 Incl. AM4 Did someone already try that one out? if so, how's the average Temp when overclocking an i5-8600K? And is it worth the Price? https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/nzxt-kraken-x62-inkl-am4-3cm-cpu-kuehler-6364023?tagIds=76
  7. Looks great! I think one 1080 is completely fine for now but if you want to go even further in performance you could switch to i5-8700K costs less, does more
  8. Right! Thanks for mentioning. Almost forgot to upgrade PSU I'll stick with the 550 to upgrade later on I've updated the list
  9. I guess I will stick with the Overclockable CPU. I will gladly invest more time in saving money in return for 4.9 GHz
  10. of course, would be stupid if I would buy the "non-OC" version first. Missed that one Thanks for the heads up
  11. Thanks for the heads up I guess I'll buy a 500W PSU so I can upgrade to OC CPU later on
  12. Make sure you don't have too many Programs that start with windows. When I cleared my Autostart Programs in Task-Manager half of the CPU was free again. Doesn't work every time...
  13. Hi I am currently planning on building a new Gaming-Desktop-PC because the 1050 (Notebook GPU) I currently use for VR is on the edge of unusable Framerates. So far I put together a list of components but now I'm not sure if the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Mini (8GB, High End) is too much or just right for VR. It should Run VR Games at framerates higher than or equal 100 FPS. Here are the other Components: GPU ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Mini (8GB, High End) RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x, 8GB, DDR4-3000, DIMM 288) CPU-Cooling NZXT Kraken x62 inkl. AM4 (3cm) Case Corsair Crystal 570X RGB (Midi Tower) CPU Intel Core i5-8600 BOX (LGA 1151, 3.10GHz) Mainboard MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON (LGA 1151, Intel Z370, ATX) PSU Corsair CX430M SSD / HDD Samsung 860 EVO 250GB WD Blue 1TB
  14. I'm not sure how much more performance I would get if I choose the one I can overclock I don't have experience in overclocking so I'm not sure if it would be worth it. If not i will downgrade some of the hardware on the list
  15. Thanks for the heads up I would have missed that if no one mentioned I've updated my list and changed to: Motherboard MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON (LGA 1151, Intel Z370, ATX) CPU Intel Core i5-8600 BOX (LGA 1151, 3.10GHz) Case Looks too cool to change to cheaper one The original Link to my List still works
  16. Thanks for the Tip. You are right the one you suggested even has 2 cores more than the one I selected. I've updated my List
  17. Hello, people who read this Post I need some Feedback for the PC-Building Plan I put together to find out if it's worth the high Price or if there is a Better solution for less Money. I will mainly Use this Computer for Gaming, Multimedia, VR-Gaming and some casual VirtualBox stuff and it should run the most popular titles over 60 FPS at medium to high settings I put my list together in a Swiss online store (because I live there). But I'm sure they have an option for English translation Because I recycle some Parts from my current build I will just add the missing parts below the Link to the List. My PC-Build: https://www.digitec.ch/de/ShopList/Show?shopListId=D244570E7CED53824608F58EAECD4000 Currently Costs: 1563.80 CHF (1’571.27 US-Dollar) Missing Parts: Power Supply 430 W Corsair CX430 https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CX430-Builder-Power-Supply/dp/B009RMP14M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1533537676&sr=8-2&keywords=430+W+Corsair+CX430 SSD (Boot Drive) Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E500B/AM) https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-500GB-Internal-MZ-76E500B-AM/dp/B0781Z7Y3S/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1533537778&sr=1-1&keywords=860+evo&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER HDD Western Digital Blue 1TB https://www.amazon.com/Digital-Deskptop-1Terabyte-5400-7200RPM-Applications/dp/B06XR3LT6W/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1533537889&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=Western+Digital+Blue+1TB&psc=1 Please let me know if i forgot anything I will update the Specs every now and then depending on the feedback i get for it
