  1. That's exactly why I am so indecisive. I would like the airflow options of the P600s, but I really like that case in black color, which is currently out of stock here. I think I might just suck it up and go with the grey or white. I have always liked the Evolv X, but i think P600s is more versatile,
  2. Hello! I need your guys' opinion. I am having a hard time choosing between P600s and Evolv X (gray color for both). Price is not an issue as it's a birthday gift for me. Which one would you guys go? I am also open to other options. Important things for me: No complete mesh front panel (like P500A or Meshify), as I have 2 cats and a dog. Things get furry and dusty. Hinged side-panels would be nice. Pleasant non-gamer aesthetic. What do you guys think?
  3. I completely agree. I was just running Prime 95 to get the unrealistic max to test my thermal headroom. Cinebench is max 65, which is obviously quite good. I am already using Arctic MX-4, so the only upgrade would be to go liquid metal. I think I am just going to stop worrying about this, and let my AIO do its job. Thanks for your input!
  4. I agree with your comment. Unfortunately, I don't remember if I ever ran a Prime 95 stress test on my air cooler, otherwise I would be able to tell the max temp. I do think it will go over 80 though, which in itself would show that the AIO works properly. I think I am just being a little bit paranoid because I feel like the liquid temp should at least show an increase in temp to note that heat is getting transferred out effectively. But then again, as my fan curve is set up, the fan pump speed and all my system fans would ramp up with CPU temp increase to cool the liquid, which would make sense why it doesn't go up too much.
  5. Sorry for the late reply! Personally, I would go with the IPS if possible. If you can find a good deal on the other two, I would go with VA over TN. So, it would be IPS > VA > TN.
  6. Hi all, I recently switched to a NZXT X53 after using air cooling all my life (mostly due to pet hair issues). I am usually idling between 35-43C on my Ryzen 5 3600 (with PBO). On a Prime 95 small FFTs test for maximum heat, my max CPU temp is 78C. This would indicate that my AIO is doing it's job properly. However, my issue is that the NZXT CAM software is telling me that the liquid temp in the AIO doesn't go higher than 35C during this stress test. Also, with a Deepcool Gammax GT air cool, I used to idle around 30C. How is that an AIO is worse than a $45 air cooler? I have 2 Deepcool 120 intake fans in the front, one exhaust in the back. NZXT X53 240mm rad exhausting up top. I am aware my current setup has basically become negative pressure, as opposed to positive pressure with my air cooler. Could this be enough reason?
  7. That's fair. Yeah, go for a 1080p 144Hz this year, but next year, consider upgrading to a 1440p 144Hz display after upgrading your GPU. It's going to be a game changer for you!
  8. We need the specs and pictures of your build, if possible
  9. So do I! IPS is even more important for you then. 144Hz is a must for smooth game play regardless of the game. What GPU do you have btw? You might even consider looking for a 1440p monitor.
  10. There's only few for me: WoW, Divinity Original Sin 2, Civ VI, and right now, Valheim
  11. There are benefits, but none that you would see in your system. The only benefit is reliability and peace of mind. Just fewer chances of your power supply failing. However, if your 1000W G+ has been working fine, there is no need to upgrade. It will serve you fine even with a 3090.
  12. This is a decent deal: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B083K17XLH?tag=pcp0f-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 The ones that you listed are all VA panels. The one above is a IPS panel. Get a second monitor depends you. Do you think you need it? Do you use Discord? If so, get it. You can probably use the second monitor as a Discord monitor (that's what I do). People generally recommend 24" for 1080p monitors, but I have used 27" before, and it's honestly not that bad for pixel density. If you want the best quality picture and the smoothest gameplay, go for a 24" 1080p 144Hz+ monitor.
  13. Oops, I thought you were the OP. As others suggested, you can just use the non-activated version of Windows forever. If you are a student, you can also get Windows 10 for free (Google it). Finally, there is also the option of buying Windows 10 keys from sites like Kinguin or something that sell them for cheap.
  14. If you already have a licensed Windows 10, you can just install Windows 10 on your new PC and then login to your microsoft account for it to auto-license.
  15. Did you recently update a graphics driver? It is possible that your driver got corrupted. You can try to boot into recovery options by resetting your PC 3 times. After that, try to do a system restore to an earlier version and se eif that works.
