  1. I've heard the Pioneer drives are also meant to be good, though expensive. They seem to have such a huge number of them Does anyone know a good comparison matrix all the models? Looking on this page: https://pioneer-blurayodd.eu/
  2. Ah right okay, I've got some random i5 at the moment and xms3 ram I thought they must have come up with some sort of tidy solution to this but was still a concern for me! Thanks for the help!
  3. Looks like a good one! Can't seem to get them in the UK I was torn between this and the Noctua one, the weight was a big concern for me. They are quite pricey...might see if I can get one on ebay I was torn between this and the Noctua one, the weight was a big concern for me. They are quite pricey...might see if I can get one on ebay
  4. Hi everyone! hope your managing to keep safe in the current environment! I’m that board of lockdown in the UK I’m planning a few upgrades first of which will be a CPU cooler (what a boring upgrade I hear you say! Well...I’m holding around 50c for my cpu at idle!) up until now I’ve been using a stock intel cooler but want to get a no fuss but very good and quiet cooler. Air seems to be the best here. Naturally I’ve been looking at Be Quiet! And Noctua first off, any recommendations on coolers? I’ve got normal size ram on an LGA 1150 socket but I’d like a cooler compatible with 1150 and AM4 2nd question, I’ve got my computer in the ‘normal’ way so the mobo is mounted vertically, does mounting a 1kg cooler to your motherboard in this way cause any issues? Should you support the cooler?? If it helps I’ve got a graphite 600t case so room shouldn’t be an issue. Thanks for the help!! Stay safe!
  5. Hi, I'm just after some advice. I'm going to be getting a laptop soon to be used in school, currently, on my desktop, I have 3 hard drives: One is my main drive One stores 'other files' such as images etc One acts as a backup drive (windows file history etc) When I get my laptop is there any way I can get it to backup to the backup drive on my main rig automatically (i.e. set it and forget it)? I also backup to one drive for some files (documents and images) but would like to avoid this as I've got sync software on my main rig which sorts all the important stuff and backs it up to one drive Thanks all, Sam
  6. Really its only a year old, its still under warranty.
  7. Hi I have an Asus z97-a motherboard and a Corsair rm550, recently my computer has begun turning off and then coming back on with a message saying that there was a power surge and my computer was turned off to protect it. It as suddenly started doing it as it has never done it before. There is an option to turn it off but I don't know weather I should. Thanks

  9. Hello I will hopefully soon be switching to an external amp but I know you shouldn't amplify through your motherboard and plug that in to another amp so is there a way on the realtek audio driver to tell it not to amplify the out put. (does this make any sense?)
  10. Thanks do you know if the normal one from corsair is a nice size
  11. Hello I need some help on deciding what windowed side panel to get for my black 600t. The one that corsair sell seems a bit small. If you could tell me if it is a nice size. if not can you link me to some third party side pannel thank you
  12. what is the best ssd multipack? Not that I plan to raid. me and my friend are thinking of buying a SSD multipack as we think we will more value for our money that way. We are after a balance between performance and capacity
  13. Wow my favourite feature would be the water and dust profaneness as I am quiet clumsy and also that dbrand back looks amazing
