  1. WOW! THANK YOU soo much . I love how u made sure everything is future proof. What a Legend!
  2. Actually in the area in which i live it can easily reach 35 C some days 37 C.
  3. Budget (including currency): 16000 SEK Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Competitive multiplayers like Apex, Warzone, Val, and AAA titles occasionaly. Monitor: 3440 x 1440 (144hz). This is the list of parts i have come up with so far. https://se.pcpartpicker.com/list/xnzVjZ I was wondering if the powersupply is good? There is currently a discount on a Corsair RM850e. Its about 16% cheaper than the NZXT one i have in the list. So my questions are: 1. Are NZXT and Corsair good PSU brands? And Should I go for the Discount? 2. Is it worth to upgrade to a Ryzen 5700X for about 200 SEK extra? 3. And do you have any good Case recomendations under 1000 SEK? I would also appreciate other suggestions/recomendations.
  4. Sorry guys for not being specific enough. The gpu that i bought was part of the budget. So i only have about 8000 SEK left. I really appreciate you guys making the list. I apologize if i wasted ur time.
  5. Budget (including currency): 16000 SEK (1600 USD) (only for PC) Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly online competetive games like Apex, Warzone, Valorant and Tripple A titles occasionaly. Other details: I have already bought a RX 6950xt since it was a good deal (7750 SEK). Although I am a little worried wheather the ryzen 5600X i am planning to buy will be a bottleneck. I can probably get even a 5700X if necessary. Any opinions on the GPU & CPU combo? I will be playing at 3440 x 1440 - 144hz. When its competitive games i dont mind turning down graphics for performance. But i would prefer high graphics when it comes to AAA games. I also want give Battlefield 2042 a try but i've heard that it is a very CPU demanding game which makes me wonder if the CPU will be enough. Also since i have never built or had a gaming pc before, i have no idea what PSU should i get. Is 850W enough, and whats up with the 80 gold/titanium/... stuff, does it matter? I would also appreciate a recomendation for a good enough motherboard and Case. CPU cooler, I have heard online that even a normal 300 - 500 SEK (30 - 50 USD) air cooler would do. Last but not least, The card that I have bough is a XFX Speedster MERC 319. I found very few reviews on youtube. Is this a trust worthy brand? should have to worry about the cooling capabilities?
  6. Hi, I am newbie trying to dual boot Ubuntu and windows 10 on my laptop. I had Ubuntu as my primary OS and decided installed windows 10 on a separate SSD. After windows installation naturally grub wouldn't appear so in order to make it appear I restarted and went into boot options, from there I choose the drive with Ubuntu and It booted successfully into grub. So I went into ubuntu and ran a update-grub command to add windows again to grub. I also went into bios and changed the UEFI boot order so that it boots first from the drive with ubuntu since that is where grub is located. So now grub appears everytime I restart but I cant boot into windows I get this blue screen. P.S. After I changed to UEFI boot order in bios and it booted into grub, I choose windows and it booted successfully once. But only once, after that this error started appearing.
  7. Yes, there is a "efi" directory in /boot. Here is how the tree for the /boot/efi looks like.
  8. Sorry, I am a newbie. But still i am getting errors. Maybe I am doing something wrong again.
  9. Here is the result I got form terminal. And the content for /boot/grub/grub.cfg. I will also attach the file itself. # # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE # # It is automatically generated by grub-mkconfig using templates # from /etc/grub.d and settings from /etc/default/grub # ### BEGIN /etc/grub.d/00_header ### if [ -s $prefix/grubenv ]; 10. Here is the content I found in fstab. # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a # device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices # that works even if disks are added and removed. 11. Hi, I am a new user to Linux. On my laptop I am dual booting PopOs and windows 10. But recently my grub bootloader suddenly started giving me this error every time I choose Windows from grub menu. error: no such device: FED8-19D0 error: disk `hd1, gpt1` not found. Press any key to continue... After I press a key it takes me back to the grub menu. Although when I choose anything other than windows it works as it should. I am not really sure if this is the reason for the error but I believe the error started appearing after this one time I tried to mount the C drive (which is where windows is stored) onto Linux through the utility app. Also I have both legacy and secure boot disabled. Btw, I am still a beginner to Linux so I would appreciate if you make the answer a little more beginner friendly.

  13. Hi, I am new to Linux and I want to customize my grub bootloader. I have seen many videos on youtube about how to customize your grub bootloader, but the one thing they all have in common is that they download and install themes from other websites. I want to know how to create my own bootloader theme so that I can design a bootloader of myself. Fully customized. So is there a documentation or a tutorial video that teaches you how to customize grub. I would really appreciate some help.
  14. Yes, 1440p. And also USB-C (with power delivery) support is something I would really like, cuz then I would not need to use any adapter for the macbook.
