  1. looks like the heat sink and fan are glued together somehow =[
  2. so my GS70 laptop's CPU fan is making a very loud rattling sound and i think its dying and need to replace the fan. i found a couple of links online where they sell the fan with out the heat sink but couldn't find any videos or guides on how to replace just the fan alone. wondering if someone else here has done this

  4. Ok so you are saying that an intake fan radiator would indeed be better?
  5. note: all fans are 120mm. so i have 3 intake fans at the front of the case and 1 exhaust fans at the rear. (master case pro 5) i have a H100i from corsair and i want to know should i use the top mounted radiator as Intake or exhaust. Intake would mean i will have fresh air going through the radiator (better cooling) but will also introduce hot air to the rest of the components and i will only have one single exhaust at the rear and the case pressure will be too positive? Exhaust would mean that i will have warm air going through the radiator which will have effects on the cooling (possibly), however the rest of the components will not get introduced to hot air and the case pressure will be more or less natural? i am in a dilemma here please help
  6. got this laptop for the same price with a 765m cuz i got it early any way i can upgrade?
  7. hey i was wondering if the MSI GS70 stealth RAM is upgradeable from 8gig to 16 gigs?
  8. i am not sure if the GS70 ram is upgradeable i have no idea how to upgrade a laptop =[
  9. so i am buying a new laptop and right now i have found 2 that i realy like both are MSI, 1:MSI GE70 2oe and the other one 2:MSI GS70 the gs70 is slim and is full metal so thats nice but the problem is it only has 8 gigs of ram and i know its enough for todays gaming but what about 4 years later? the ge70 has 16 gigs of ram the GS70 has a 128 gig ssd along with a 1TB hdd while the GE70 only has a 1TB HDD 7200rpm the GS70 is very thin the GE70 has a plastic cover, while the GS70 is full aluminum in my opinion the GS70 is a superior laptop other than the fact that it only has 8 gigs of ram both are around the same price range i will be using this laptop for a long time so need the ram to be enough for the next few years, oh and i was wondering which laptop will have better cooling
  10. so MSI is a better and more reliable comany than HP?
  11. i have around 1000 pounds to spend and they are both around the same price range, i will be doing some gaming and video editing, and i want the laptop to run cool i know having a laptop over my chest/lap is not good but i was wondering which one would be cooler. i will be using this laptop for a looooooong time so should be quiet reliable i dont know if MSI or HP is better in that i just want a good laptop overall since they are both 17inch laptops i dont think the hp being slim to make much of a difference.
