So during the summer of quarantine, my graphics card shut down. I was sitting in discord when I heard 2 clicks and the screen went black along with all of the fans etc. I sent it in to Zotac, and it came back working. Plugged it in and all was fine for 3 months before the same thing happened again. At the time, the stars aligned and all of a sudden I had a brand new RTX 3070 to plug in. So I did, to no avail. The exact same symptoms. One thing to mention is that when the cards "died", the computer would boot without them. I don't have an igpu so I can't check, but all the fans and lights turn on when they're not plugged in. With the GPU, the ram lights up but none of the fans or other lights. I'm unsure of the problem and I don't want to blame my brand new gpu for the issue, because they're so difficult to get right now. Just today, as I was plugging it in to check whether the issue had changed, I took out the gpu and sparks flew from the lower right portion of the motherboard. It's a wire heavy area, but idk anymore.
