  1. What I mean is that currently 300gb / 2tb is used from games, videos etc on my monitor. If I get a new monitor, will it come with a flashed hdd so with 2tb new, or with 1.7 tb.
  2. So I recently purchased the HP OMEN 25" monitor - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/monitors/hp/hp-omen-25-144hz-full-hd-gaming-monitor/504296/ Now many articles are saying it's falsely advertising 144hz and that it skips frames - https://segmentnext.com/2018/03/30/hp-omen-25-falsely-advertised/ and (click on image Now, at the time I had spent $400 AUD on this monitor, so I am quite disappointed from this. So on the website I bought it from, it states that there is a 1 year warranty, but I have already opened the box the monitor came with and top packaging sealing may have been a bit ripped. What will this warranty cover, and if it covers the "frame skips" and I can return it, is it ok to return it with a slightly ripped packaging? I am not very familiar with the process of replacing or sending things back. Not only this, but when I would be about to replace the monitor, would the ssd size and hard drive size on my pc be completely wiped, so I'd have my original 2tb hdd and 250gb ssd to use for boot and storage on my new monitor? Or will I have to partition it, wipe it or do something on my current monitor to utilize all of the space that is on my current monitor. I am thinking of purchasing this monitor if in worst case scenario, I replace it. https://www.umart.com.au/MSI-Optix-G27C2-27--1920x1080-144Hz-LCD-Curved-Gaming-Monitor_41241G.html
  3. How do I fix that? Because it happens with every single editor I've used.
  4. So I recently started recording a couple videos on my computer. Output: 1920x1080, MP4 Recorder: OBS Studio Editor: Sony Vegas Pro 15 Basically, after I'm done recording, when I play the video using the "Films & TV" player or Windows Media Player, it has the perfect quality when viewing. But when I import the video into any video editor at all, it just appears blurry. In the video previewer, it's 60% more blurry and even when I render it, it appears to be blurry! How can I fix this, I am seeking help as I am eager to find a solution for this. Side Note: I have correctly configured all of my OBS Settings
  5. Thanks for that but it's a tad confusing, is there maybe a video out there on it you could reference me to?
  6. I'm not really too sure, I bought it here https://www.kinguin.net/category/22175/windows-10-home-oem-key/?nosalesbooster=1&country_store=1&currency=AUD&r=26068&id=22175&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqPDaBRC6ARIsACAf4hBmnMjTxzsY3LVsiAbdWO24_6vA3-BgSSF8PCBqOSP1M6EqBGyNfB0aAieNEALw_wcB
  7. Will I also need to get another product key for windows or anything? Or will it be the same version of my windows and I won't need to buy anything again.
  8. To be honest, would it work if I could just install windows on the ssd, format my hard drive then back up my files on a usb and then get my files on the hard drive via usb again?

    Need Help

There aren't any cases mounted at the top of the case, I have 3 cases, which is the stock cooler on the cpu, 1 cooler on the right side as shown in the thumbnail, and one on the left side as you can see in this photo: Insert existing attachment
  10. When I set my ssd to my first boot priority and lets say I install it on the ssd, will I also need to redownload all of my games, files etc? That'd be a pain.

    Need Help

I have the Corsair Spec Omega (White)
  12. Hello everybody! I recently built a new PC with a 2TB Barracuda for storage and a 250GB Samsung 860 EVO for boot. When I was setting up the pc, I made an error (I think), and I installed Windows on the 2TB Hard Drive. Will this affect the boot speed? I checked my boot priority and the first one was my hard drive, then my ssd but if I change it to my ssd first in boot priority, when I try to run windows, it takes me to the black starting page which says "Press del to run setup" I would like to get help on this as I'm pretty sure that my $100 SSD is not being utilized.

    Need Help

So I recently built a pc with an i7-8700 (locked) and a gtx 1060 6gb, but I think even for a non overclocking cpu, a stock cooler and the 2 case coolers are too little for a build like this. Is it worthy to replace my stock cpu with another air cooler, if so, what's a good one under $50. Last of all, if I do come across to replacing my cpu cooler, is it safe to remove my stock cooler which already has pre-applied thermalpaste, and then mount a different air cooler? Will everything still work smoothly and will it affect the noise of the coolers?
  14. When I built the pc, I wasn't sure on how many cables I'd need as I'm a first time builder and now I'd have difficulties to remove the un-used wires as some of the wiring may unplug without knowing.
  15. Hey, I recently copped a 750w rgb power supply, but the only problem is, is that my case (Corsair Spec Omega White) isn't very good for cable management, there is almost no room at the back to put cables in otherwise the back panel won't fit in. If I put the PSU cords at the front then the problem currently is, is that I have so many wires that some are underneath my GPU fan that the right fan doesn't even spin. It also isn't the best looking, so any help?
  16. Hey, the i7 is fine. I have the exact same cpu, the i7-8700 and I have no other fans and I use the stock cooler coming with the cpu. Good fans are necessarily used when overclocking and this is not an overclocking cpu as it locked and does not have a "K" at the end.
  17. Hey, thanks for the response, it got fixed.
  18. Hi guys, I recently built my pc with Windows 10 and it was working perfectly a few hours ago, but once I shut it down and opened it up again, the sound stopped working. My monitor doesn't have in-built speakers, so I usually use mini desktop speakers or headphones, but the problem is, that once I plug them in, it doesn't detect them and there is just no audio coming out of it. I downloaded all drivers for my motherboard and here are my specs, i7-8700, MSI B360 Arctic, MSI GTX 1060 6GB X Gaming, ThermalLake 750w 80+ Bronze RGB, Corsair Spec-Omega If I could get this issue fixed I would be incredibly happy, thanks.
  19. Thanks a lot, I will try now.
  20. 17:52 in this video it states only 4 drivers to install, should I only download these four, or all on this list - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B360-GAMING-ARCTIC#down-driver
  21. Alright, I'll attempt that, thanks.
  22. How will I do it without internet, will I have to download them on a separate pc and transport the files using a usb stick?
  23. I just completed my pc build and haven't installed the drivers yet, Windows 10 is running from a usb stick. No, it wasn't running before.
