  1. I'll be building a PC in the upcoming months and I've pretty much nailed all the components that will go in it, but in terms of PSU I'd like to get something a bit stronger. The specs are as follows: CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X GPU: RTX 3060 TI (Possible 3070 if one is found for a good price) My current plan in to go for a Seasonic Focus Gold GX750W. Would that be good and offer a nice safety margin or would the same model but 850W be preferable?
  2. Hey guys! I'll be doing a upgrade of my pc in the upcoming month and I'm unsure of my ideas for the cooling/fan placement. I'll be keeping the case from my current build since I upgraded it just a year ago, it's a Corsair Carbide 275R Tempered Glass. My idea is (as also shown in the attached image): - On the front having 2x 120mm fans default fans from the case pulling air in - On top having a NZXT Kraken X53 with the 2x 120mm default fans pulling air out - On the back a single default NZXT H510 120mm fan (I just had it laying around) If it helps I'll be upgrading the CPU and GPU for the following: - Ryzen 7 5700X - MSI RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB VENTUS 2X OC Any opinions or changes about the cooling setup? (I'm not ruling out buying new fans btw, just trying to save a buck wherever possible)
  3. Recently I’ve started having problem with Windows Updates. They would install just fine and then when they asked for a restart, they would either, freeze on 100% Complete and it would just stay there rotating or it would complete and give me this mess. (Video) It’s the 3rd time this has happened and it’s annoying because I have to reinstall Windows. Any idea or help would be grateful. 41F8BD7F-38BD-4401-B89C-C9AF1112FE19.MOV
  4. Thanks for answering! Unfortunately where I live (Portugal) the build you suggested is way over-budget, 711€. And I really don't have a lot more room in terms of budget unfortunately. Looking at your text advice: - I'm going to change the mobo for the one you suggested since it's only 4€ in difference; - The RX580 starts at 300€ which kills my budget, so my question is, would a 1060 3GB perform better then the RX 470 4GB? - Does the increase in RAM speed really change a lot in terms of perfomance? (I know it does but in this particular case) - The change to a Ryzen 5 1400 is also probaly happening since it's only 8€ more. - Storage for now is not a problem.
  5. 1. Budget & Location My budget is around 600€. Cannot really go higher than that. 2. Aim This build id going to be used mainly for some gaming (not AAA) but also for programming and game development (mainly Unity). 3. Monitors The only monitor I plan on running is a LG 25UM58-P UltraWide Monitor (2560x1080 - 75Hz) 4. Peripherals I have all the peripherals already acquired. 5. Why are you upgrading? Mainly upgrading 'cause I've been using my current pc since 2012 (Pentium E6300, 3GB DDR2, GeForce 210, blah blah) and it's time for an upgrade 'cause it only now has started to show difficulty in doing my day to day tasks. Here is the build I am currently thinking of, let me know if there's something I need/should change. CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1300X Motherboard: Gigabyte AX370M-DS3H Cooler: Low-Profile AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler (Comes with the CPU) RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black (2 x 3GB) DDR4-2133 CAS14 Memory Storage: 500GB HDD (In use on my current PC) GPU: Gigabyte RX470 G1 Gaming 4GB PSU: 500W (In use on my current PC) I needed to know if this is a good combinations of parts for my PC (since it's my first time building one). Any help would be apreciated! Thanks!
