  1. The problem is bottlenecking. We have a chip from almost 3 years ago that won't be able to push the frames to the card fast enough
  2. Try updating your drivers and downloading new software updates for pre-installed system related applications
  3. The Optane algorithms are most likely trying to cycle the files through the drive, but then realizing that they are in use, so it reads it from the drive while it is writing, instead of writing directly to the optane module. It's a caching issue from the sound of it.
  4. Millimeter wave APs will have to get so incredibly close together, it's almost impractical to have them in singular locations, instead of a web. The mid and lower band 5G will have to do, as it IS an improvement but will substitute until Millimeter wave can get condensed enough across the globe.
  5. I was thinking that, the installer can't resume after initial reboot if it is disconnected
  6. People exclude AMD from their searches a lot, because NVIDIA is extremely appealing to the majority of people
  7. Try @St. Nick's idea and swap the slots the DIMMs are in.
  8. A 1060 should be just fine, but anything above that may be too much for the CPU to push.
  9. What are your exact steps in a 1. 2. 3. format, that will give us a lot more information
  10. You can always get a DP to HDMI, which only run you about 3-10 bucks not including shipping, HOWEVER, over an older HDMI standard you may not be able to hit the 75Hz+ range you want, due to spec limitations.
  11. The chips may have been produced by different manufacturers and just refuse to work together
  12. Your best option is an open box/refurb display deal, but those sometimes even run at $170+
  13. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but a borderless display running 75Hz+ at 1080/1440p is not very realistic.
  14. You should always pair the exact same brand and model of RAM together when you build or modify a system. I would recommend returning that kit and getting another 2x4GB kit of the original ADATA kit you got.
  15. Check your case dimensions and reference the cooler specifications if you do plan on getting a new cooler
  16. AIO watercooling isn't stressful at all, it's a breeze. I would only recommend a Noctua cooler for an air cooled K series chip, ESPECIALLY if you are overclocking with it. But if you don't want a beefy heatsink that gets gummed up with dust, and have to blow the dust out of as often, get an AIO from corsair or NZXT or another reputable brand.
  17. With the way it looks, you should be just fine with stock, although I would heavily recommend getting a $30-40 cooler like @Mira Yurizaki suggests
  18. Do you mean a physical charging case or a sleeve to put around the case
  19. You can't overclock without a K chip, so as long as you don't live in an excessively hot place or have a PC case with starved airflow, you should be just fine with the chip, although a Hyper 212 might improve your results.
  20. What's most likely is that you got a DOA, I sincerely doubt that your PC isn't putting enough power out to drive them properly.
  21. So I should enter it using the windows installer rather than using the settings activation dialogue to upgrade from W10 home?
  22. Recently I managed to acquire a W10 Pro OEM license from Kinguin, however I'm unsure about how I'll have to go about using it. My worry is that I'll try it from the upgrade product key dialogue and it will reject my key due to the fact it is OEM. Do I have to use it with a clean install of windows or can it be used normally, any help or insight is appreciated dearly.
